  1. it was found in the alamo's basement
  2. i love acrostics, but i can't figure out what that one means
  3. I do find it quite fitting that the thread about a pedophile and the numerous people who failed to expose his horrible acts is titled "Joe Paterno" unfortunately when you're the face of a program, you can't only be the face when things are going well.
  4. really hope joe posnanski sees the light once he steps out of state college.
  5. the real winner in all this is joe posnanski, who moved to state college a few months ago to write a book on joe paterno. i think he just got a guaranteed best seller
  6. then what is the point of the show? Their entire programming schedule is built around "traditional ways of thinking", why do they need to throw somebody in there to poo-poo? hopefully it will be phased out. the 2 times so far they haven't really countered anything stats heavy. mitch williams talked about a new playoff format, and sean casey talked about giving out $100 million contracts.
  7. i don't think he'll be a regular. it looks like what they're doing is at the end of the show, they have an 'ombudsman' segment where i guess someone with a more traditional-based baseball mind gets to counter whatever was brought up during the show. yesterday was sean casey.
  8. Pedophile State University is fair if we're all gonna do O$U
  9. neither of them sounded stupid, actually. though for mitch williams' segment, they weren't really talking about stats, they were talking about changes in playoff format.
  10. in all honesty, no baiting or anything, do you think paterno should resign?
  11. not a bad show. didn't need any insight from mitch williams, larry bowa, or peter gammons. but i liked the concept, and it could be awesome during the regular season.
  12. well if it was just 1 more boy i guess it's not that big a deal
  13. all i know is treymon better start every cubs game thread this coming season
  14. that analogy really sucks and is insulting to the depravity of the situation. using your setting, here's what your analogy should be: i'm a middle manager at a company, and a co-worker says he saw another co-worker (who also happens to be my closest confidant in the office) RAPING A CHILD IN THE BATHROOM. i let upper management know, and they take no action. the co-worker continues raping children in the bathroom for 8 more years. not sweat off my brow though, i let upper management know.
  15. accept his part of ramirez's mutual option
  16. lol, unbelievable
  17. yeah, i had to stop about 5 sentences in on page 2. there's 23 pages.
  18. hopefully all these candidates sound like morons during the press interview, and ryno comes swooping in to take his rightful place
  19. who would have guessed that a child molestation scandal would bring joe paterno down, and not old age
  20. it's nice that this guy's a good athlete and all, but i bet players like lastings milledge, corey patterson, austin kearns, wily mo pena, etc. would look good doings those drills too.
  21. when i made a post a couple weeks ago about the bengals possibly finishing 10-6, i penciled them in for a loss to the titans 11-5 mofos
  22. hey now, the andy griffith show was a pretty excellent sitcom that still holds up
  23. pee wee herman is a national treasure
  24. hopefully the penn state supporters on this board will now leave poor little ohio state alone
  25. you're a loner kingkong...a rebel.
