Trammell has the greatest disconnect between his vote totals and where he should be. Without looking too much into it, I'd say Raines or Bagwell. If Tim Raines or Jeff Bagwell are HOF I want a refund. Alan Trammell was a great SS but was not even the best of his era. Glad Ronny is in. Really sucks that they found a way the year he died. i was reading the twitter quotes from theo about t. wood's cost-controlled years and torreyes having an advanced contact tool playing as a teenager in full-season ball and thinking "boy jim hendry really wouldn't have said stuff like this" i will also add that hendry never, ever would have made this trade. marshall is a good player and hendry never grasped the concept of selling high or acquiring young, cost-controlled assets for an asset that is very good but about to become expensive. to be fair, hendry unloading derosa was definitely a sell high move.

They almost certainly wouldn't accept that, but they might accept a 6-7 year deal written so Fielder could opt out after year 3 or 4. 6-7 year deal with an opt out after 3-4 years sounds great if we can backload it. $18m., $20m., $22m., $24m., $26m., $28m., $30m with opt out after 3 years. it sure wouldn't be great if prince starts to suck
