are you in the blackout area? Shouldn't be. I have Lions/49ers at 1pm, with nothing on CBS. Then I have Browns @ Raiders and Cowboys @ Patriots at 4pm. It's the late FOX game that is preventing the early CBS game (Bengals) from being on same set up here, but i know it's because the bengals are blacked out. and since they figure people around here want to watch the browns game at 4 on cbs, we don't have any football on cbs right now.

Who exactly deserves the credit and blame for successful/unsuccessful organizations if not the GM? Let me play devils advocate: Kenny Williams 2005 discuss. He didn't say successful season. ok. but I'm curious what ya'll think of him as a GM. did he just get lucky one season? he made some moves that worked out very well for him. i don't think he's a brilliant gm, but he's not one of the worst.

What makes it such a likely choice? And what evidence do we have that Theo believes he could turn Sandberg into an extension of the front office? Because Ryno wants the job, Cubs fans (most of them) want Ryno to have the job and Theo apparently likes him as a managerial material (he tried to hire him as the AAA manager)? And I used the caveat "unless he has someone in mind". Listen, I don't want to see Sandberg as manager one bit, but if I had to handicap the field, I'd put Ryno as the favorite. Not to get too far off this awesome threads track, but why is Ryno not wanted by many here? Seriously now, other than win, what's the problem? do we really need to do this again?
