    thank god the red sox got rid of fenway for a more modern ballpark before they finally won a world series. boston's new modern park filtered out the bandwagon fan. without that move, they were screwed.

    For Spring training? Probably, unless maybe the team they're facing is broadcasting it.

    As far as I know, there's no way to save the games. Although every game is archived during the season and you can watch it at any time. I think you get every spring training game that's televised, though I'm not sure about blackout restrictions for those games. Yes, you can watch blackout games after they've been televised. I like it. Video quality isn't amazing, but it's good enough. And I think it's about 30 seconds behind actual live action. But I'm getting it again, if that tells you anything.

    I know Dubois ended up stinking, but what was it exactly about Dubois' awesome AAA season or his awesome spring training that made you think Dubois didn't deserve to play in 2005?

    If the Cubs were awesome offensively at LF, RF and SS...then maybe. Until that's the case, we need Barrett's bat more than Yadier's glove.

    Hey da muskat said something smart !?!? Prior, Wood, Mabry, Ramirez, Pierre, Lee, Walker, Zambrano, Jones, and maybe even more have postseason experience too. That better not be a made-up reason to have Grissom on the team.

    Just imagine the ticket demand if the Cubs were good last year.

    Who cares? Offer them a ton of young players (except Pie). Hill, Brownlie, Sing, and Dopriak for starters. Cabrera is the kind of player the Cubs need. You can't even being trade talks for a 22 year old coming off a .946 OPS season by saying that Pie is untouchable.
