    Words fail me. If winning the championship is your indication of great Cubs, then Mordecai Brown is easily the greatest player in team history. Winning a Series is usually a sketchy argument to rate one player over another, but in the Cubs' case it's particularly bad. then why worship banks, santo, williams, jenkins, etc? sosa's lead the cubs to more division titles than those guys.

    I haven't heard this anywhere else, I found it buried in a Dayton Daily News Article. Link Ugh, I hate this idea. Three Nights in August was awful, and the last thing I want is this clown writing a book about the Cubs, which I'm sure will feature many lovely references to a 100 year World Series drought and curses galore.

So that's one to three in favor of Floyd in our small sample size bonanza of baseball wisdom. You are a bigger joke than Murton sitting the bench. settle down friend. the poor guy posted right above you that he thought murton should now get consistent starts.

    my glorious felix hernandez complete game shutout (it's a points league and complete games and shutouts are mega points) probably won't count because they screwed up their fantasy leagues and now everything is being reset today.
