    My girlfriend is a huge Cubs fan, so we're basically not even on talking terms right now. mine likes the cubs a lot too (she had to be the only girl in ohio today wearing a matt murton t-shirt jersey), but she's only watched them for 2 years, so I don't think she understands how i can get that upset over a silly sport.

    i feel bad for my girlfriend. when i'm obviously furious about the cubs she tries really hard to cheer me up, but i end up feeling worse because now i'm making her miserable by me being miserable. i know an easy solution would be to watch the games alone, but when things are going well i'm having a blast.
