    He would have been safe even if he wouldn't have short-hopped that throw. Clearly. I'm just saying. That was an awful effort. Dude's not suited for short. But that's a whole different argument.

    Actually, looks like Carpenter got the surprise start for Tennessee today. 3 innings, 2 hits, 1 ER, 1BB, 1 K. Papelbon then came in and got knocked around. Starlin 2-3 with a double and his first HR of the year. AVG near .400...Campana with 2 hits including a 3B, and his AVG is over .400...good start for him as well.

    Gotta watch Cash tonight and see if he can maintain his stuff past the 4th. Very nice pitching lineup tonight, as TT mentioned. Should be interesting.

    Parisi needed over 60 pitches to get thru his 3 innings. Sure would be interested to know how he looked outside of his line, which was pretty pedestrian.

    Oh wow, Kevin Orie. I remember thinking that guy was gonna be the second coming.

    This is the first time i've heard 20HR potential attached to Castro. I want to be excited, but I think we're getting too far ahead of ourselves with this guy. On a side note, I selfishly hope the Cubs let Lee hit Peoria for a little while this season. I'd love to make the short drive over there to see him play a few times.
