  1. Well, ISU lead Texas at half, but it only took about 3 minutes for Texas to go ahead by ten.
  2. Air Force is a proven winning program, has been for 30 years.
  3. they're rioting because they're in college and how many chances do you get to [expletive] riot in college? anyway, this is going to be a spectacular collapse at USC.
  4. Well, historically Iowa is a top ten program in all of college basketball. :-)

  7. Iowa's speed will be too much for Georgia Tech. Plus the ACC is down this year (along with the SEC, Pac10, and BigXII).
  8. Miami, LSU and Oregon couldn't compete with Big Ten speed.
  9. Stealing a win here would be a coo for the Big Ten.

  11. If "a break" is code for "a good recruit", I agree.
  12. Maybe you should do some research into the topic before spouting off. Texas asked to be invited into the Big Ten before they joined the Big XII. I'd imagine that the Big XII didn't exist at the time they tried to get into the Big Ten. I believe the point is that they asked to join the Big Ten before they asked to join the Big 8. But I don't see how that is relevant to the situation NOW. Circumstances were so enormously different back then. You said the Big Ten trying to get Texas was no different than the Big Ten trying to get Florida or USC. The fact is that there is precedent for Texas wanting to join the Big Ten.
  13. I think Florida and USC are worth pursuing too. They are in the same country after all. Maybe you should do some research into the topic before spouting off. 15. Oh. Ha. Ha. Ha.
  16. hey. [expletive] off. plus wouldn't they cut iowa state over baylor? at least baylor's basketball program is decent and they've still got two years left of Hot Tub Griffin we have to cut someone from the south to make it even since we'd already be losing one of those scrub big12 north schools just realign them like this Texas Oklahoma Oklahoma State Texas Tech Kansas Texas A&M Baylor Colorado Nebraska Kansas State looks good to me. With 10 teams they would not need 2 divisions.

  18. I'm trying to imagine Penn State's womens basketball coach going up to Joe Paterno and bitching about what the divisions will be.
  19. I'm going to try and figure all of this out. First, we need to split up all the powers to even the divisions: 1. Separate Michigan and Ohio State (football powers) 2. Separate Ohio State and Purdue (womens bball) 3. Separate Purdue and Indiana (mens bball) 4. Separate Indiana and Penn State (soccer) 5. Separate Penn State and Illinois (volleyball) 6. Separate Illinois and Iowa (gymnastics) 7. Separate Iowa and Minnesota (wrestling) 8. Separate Minnesota and Wisconsin (hockey) 9. Separate Wisconsin and Michigan State (cross-country) 10. Separate Michigan State and Northwestern (womens lacrosse) 11. Separate Northwestern and Michigan (softball) Divisions go something like this: Indiana Division Indiana Illinois Division Illinois Iowa Division Iowa Michigan Division Michigan Michigan State Division Michigan State Minnesota Division Minnesota Ohio State Division Ohio State Penn State Division Penn State Purdue Division Purdue Wisconsin Division Wisconsin I feel this is the best way to ensure a fair alignment and give each school a fair chance in each sport.
  20. We should avoid putting Purdue and Indiana in the same division because that division would automatically be awful in football.
  21. Every Big Ten eam makes more in TV money than Notre Dame does.
  22. Good times. http://www.firejoemorgan.com/search/label/ryne%20sandberg
  23. Tim Brewster to Kansas? http://www.twincities.com/ci_13953385?nclick_check=1 I'd laugh.
  24. Kirk Ferentz is awesome. Turns down Michigan, Notre Dame, NFL teams to stay at Iowa. I love that guy.
  25. Reports in Iowa and State College have Iowa in Fiesta and Penn State in Capital One.
