Haha, great comparison. 6' 5" three-point specialist versus an athletic true 7 footer. Byrd wasn't wrong when he called him soft... he is soft. ESPN ran a stat a few issues back. I don't recall it exactly but somewhere around 17% of all 20-40 year old males in the US that are 7' tall are in the NBA. When you figure in Leonard's athleticism he would have to just about try not to make the league... Leonard's true test is whether he puts his All-Star genetics to their full use and gets a max contract in a few years... What I heard there is Meyers Leonard has taken dumps with more talent than DJ Byrd. Possibly soft ones. Byrd is a clown that has no business running his mouth about an NBA lottery pick. One who is playing quite well at a level that DJ Byrd, or no one from that Purdue team will ever sniff. Haha, you crack me up. Byrd really hit a nerve with Meyers, and you. I mean, why trash talk a guy that's soft? Maybe it will affect his game? Maybe it did? Maybe nobody from that Purdue team had Meyers talent, but they beat him every time they played him I'm pretty sure.
