  1. lol, watch the video... he was chasing after Harbaugh like a petulant child... Harbaugh shouldn't have been celebrating so much but Scwhartz's reaction was stupid...
  2. haha... Jim Schwartz is a whiny bitch...
  3. Wisconsin is the only team in the Big Ten that's any good.
  4. Uh.... 23 to 1 rushes to passes for Ohio St?
  5. Purdue was the first team since Alabama to really move the ball on PSU. Purdue lost to Rice and almost lost to Middle TN State.... they are not good... I guess they have a punchers chance with their speed on offense but they are terribly coached... it makes me pine for basketball season...
  6. Penn State pretty much sucks. Purdue should have beat them in their house for homecoming. There were some pretty terrible officiating calls, Purdue's pre-season all American kicker missed a 40 yard FG and an extra point too. Oh well. Purdue has some athletes but Danny Hope needs to go. No bowl game again for Purdue this year.
  7. Allegedly Crean told Harris he knew he was not supposed to be visiting him. In other news 2012 7' C AJ Hammons committed to Purdue tonight.
  8. VJ Beachem to Notre Dame a couple days ago...
  9. Dear Minnesota, thanks for keeping Purdue out of the cellar.
  10. You hate a mediocre-at-best team that Notre Dame will probably beat by at least two touchdowns? I'm not sure ND will beat any team by 2 TDs this year. I hate that purdue is on the schedule and take up a Sept spot at that. They aren't rivals, they share no interesting history. So they're close geographically. So is IU, but we don't play them every Sept. Wait, what? "The Fighting Irish also have a yearly rivalry with the Purdue Boilermakers, who are also located in the state of Indiana. This rivalry began in 1896 and the two squads have met each year without interruption since 1946.[2] The Fighting Irish lead the series at 54-26-2 as of 2010.[2] The two teams play for the Shillelagh Trophy. The series has been marked by a number of key upsets. The Boilermakers ended Notre Dame's 39-game unbeaten string in 1950 and posted upsets in 1954, 1967 and 1974.[2] They also hold the record for the most points scored in one game by an opponent in Notre Dame Stadium with 51 in 1960 while Notre Dame holds the record for scoring the most points by an opponent in Ross-Ade Stadium, Purdue's home field, with 52 in 1983. On September 28, 1968, #1 ranked Purdue defeated #2 Notre Dame 37-22 behind the effort of Leroy Keyes, a two-way player for the Boilermakers.[12] It was the eleventh 1 vs 2 game (and the sixth involving Notre Dame).[11]" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Notre_Dame_Fighting_Irish_football_rivalries#Purdue
  11. you're right on the money with this one
  12. Purdue just dodged a bullet. Or should I say that Hope did. No way they make a bowl if they would've lost today.
  13. That and women's basketball. You see there's little thing called Title IX. Prime Minister Pelosi should be able to explain further. We haven't even been known for women's basketball for a decade. Also, I didn't mean 'staring quarterback' haha. I meant starting.
  14. Purdue's staring QB out w/torn ACL 9 days before the season starts. I guess that's what we're known for nowadays.
  15. Probably showing him off so people think they had a good offseason. I wonder how he feels about running the ball up the gut in the 4th quarter of a preseason game? Heh.
  16. Why is Barber getting so many rushes? Do we not know what he is? Do we want him to get hurt? The kid from Utah can't catch.
  17. Robert Marve who transferred to Purdue is heavily implicated in the Miami stuff. I'm worried they might take away our win against Ball State last year.
  18. Jereme Richmond facing up to 14 years after being arrested. "At one point, Scheller said, Richmond spit on the woman and said he was going to shoot her." http://www.dailyherald.com/article/20110809/news/708099900/
  19. Achilles but either way still sucks Sorry, yes achilles. Lions draft getting killed with injuries so far.
  20. Mikel Leshoure tore his ACL.
  21. Willis officially backs out on Purdue. Better now than next summer. Lots of talent still available in 2013 and I guess we need room for Garry Harris anyway haha...
  22. A lot of Purdue fans were pessimistic about Willis right from the get go, expecting this very thing to happen. I guess I'm not too upset because I never really felt like he was going to make it to campus either. His dad was interviewed this afternoon and said he feels like Purdue's coaching staff puts the kids first and Cal and Pitino put themselves first (and that he doesn't trust them). Kind of sounds like his dad was committed to Purdue, not Derek... we'll see what goes down this weekend. edit here is the quote: "We have such a comfort zone with Coach Painter and Coach Owens," Del Willis said, "and it's like I told them, 'I don't know if I can trust a Coach (Rick) Pitino or Coach (John) Calipari. Their agenda is more for their benefit than the kid's. They're more worried about themselves."
