  1. I'm not sure exactly how many minutes he should get or I want him to get. I want him to get the opportunity to struggle a bit and still be given chances. But he looks wild on offense his handles are bad and he doesn't seem to defend well. I expect him to look better and better as the season goes on but thibs doesn't have a long leash.
  2. I was really hoping that Mcdermott and/or Mirotic would look a lot better than they do early. Doug especially looks bad. I dont see Thibs giving him snells minutes.
  3. Martellis Bennett's comments were good though.
  4. Lovie and Jay were 34-22 when Jay played and Jay and Trestman are 8-10 and that number will get worse as the season goes on. Jay was 7-9, 10-5, 7-3, and 10-5 with Lovie as HC. If we kept lovie and added these offensive weapons we would have contended. The 2012 Bears were +98 in differential. Last year they were -33. Adding Jeffery and Bennett solidifying the line, and having Lovie coach up a defense and get the most out of the resources they put toward d, and we could have been a super bowl contender noth last year and this year. Instead we are talking about potentially blowing this team up. Jay is a good QB but is mistake prone. If your teams only hope is gunslinging with Jay, than of course the team struggles when Jay struggles. Lovies teams did all the little things well. It was always a very professional team. We could be winning some of these games without Jay's best stuff. The problem is we do absolutely everything poorly. It was asinine to break up the entire coaching staff. And then hubris to hire a CFL coach and outsmart the league. Emery is an ass. Trestman sucks. That totally blew the Bears opportunity.
  5. Why? Expecting a young corner with 4 games played to anchor the franchise?
  6. If we are rebuilding around Kyle Fuller, we are in trouble.
  7. What the [expletive] does he need a timeout for. 4th and 1 from the 40 should be a play all he prepared for.
  8. Seriously? Or are you using the death of a teen girl to get more ammo on a college football team you don't particularly like and whose fans you find annoying?
  9. Well georgia just assfucked an a arkansas team that played bama to a near draw the week before.
  10. That was insane. I will never understand how FSU allowed that to happen
  11. That was the worst offensive play call in FBS history.
  12. Now go score a touchdown ND. This should be relatively easy. Four down territory. 45. Yards.
  13. This isn't complimentary to Bulls fans Anybody with the season ticket knows that the bulls team is far from the worst.
  14. Funk is bad but I still generally like King. Long is also really good when he is interviewed as a guest on other sports shows. He's fun and is a positive guy so I like him in there. I wouldn't mind if they ditched funk but ultimately I'm ok with the broadcast team. They certainly aren't hampering my enjoyment of the games. Our best announcer is chuck swirsky. I also will usually watch the national broadcast (and if you look at the schedule we are on national tv a ton this year). But that's only to hear the impression of our team from the national people and because the broadcast is way more professional than CSN. I loath JVG and his constant complaining and whining. Hubie Browns slow, deliberate and instructional style annoys the [expletive] out of me but he does seem like a really good guy. Kerr was good but that's over now. All the national play by play guys are pretty good in my opinion.
  15. In not sure about Lopez but Yao and Ilguaskas had multiple different and chronic injuries. Despite that Ilguaskas had like a 20 year pro career. And didn't Yao have a Brandon Roy-esque degenerative knee?
  16. Bernstein does not seem to want rose to succeed. He's been very mean spirited about Rose. And roses "camp" I could care less about. The chicago media gives Reggie rose a voice and then attacks derrick rose for what reggie says.
  17. I read the article and its decent. Its very favorable to Rose. So the fact that Dan Bernstein's clung to it is not surprising. Bernstein really hates derrick rose for some reason and I hope to god Rose goes on to regain his superstar calibre and shuts him and everybody else up.
  18. He's a freak athlete but having him as their primary ball handler is absurd. They did this in the summer league I assume it's for publicity? Brandon Knight is still there and should be handling the ball.
  19. If both Mississippi teams were undefeated, they're both in regardless of what happens from there. Also, I would like OMC to somehow live stream the entire day in Oxford if that happens. The only way it doesn't happen is if Georgia wins out including the SEC title game. Then you'd have three one-loss SEC schools and unless everyone else has two losses, I can't see them going with three SEC schools. Not with Notre Dame and FSU potentially only having one loss combined. I think I'd leave out Georgia in that scenario. Well that would be odd considering they would have just beaten the team on a neutral field. In that scenario georgia gets in, but i doubt georgia is good enough to pull this off. Also Miss St still has to beat Bama at Bama. It is far more likely neither mississippi school gets in than both get in. It would also be really stupid if a team lost their conference championship game and got into the playoff unless the team that wins the conference is #1.
  20. No, the SEC East is just really bad. I'm not sure any SEC fan would disagree with that. From the looks of it, Georgia is the only team that can be mentioned in any sort of national discussion. The SEC east is not bad. Especially if kentucky ends up being decent. Really the sec west is set apart and the other major conference divisions are pretty equal. The sec east has strong depth with 5-6 solid teams. It's just a down year but top to bottom is much better than the acc coastal and the big ten west and maybe a step behind te PAC divisions. Still pretty solid in the context of FBS. The main reason the sec west is looked at as so remarkable is that the up an coming teams both pulled off two straight upset wins. This has kept the top of the division in te too 10 whereas in previous years alabama and lsu or auburn have destroyed he traditionally mediocre teams like ole miss and msst. Part of the formula that has created this narrative is alabama and LSU/auburn not being able to dominate the division as it has in the past. Is this years sec west better than say 2011 when LSU and Bama were definitely the two best teams in the country and Arkansas was a top 5 team muc of the season. I believe that was the year they were 1,2 & 3 in the BCS very late in the season. Now in the sec west you have a lot more parity than usual.
  21. Id sub out MSU and sub in Georgia. MSU has not impressed. Georgia just had a huge win in Columbia and just has the one 3pt road loss to South Carolina and a few solid wins.
  22. Arkansas is giving the best teams in the sec west a run so there are many many teams including UCLA that could also.
  23. Um. 0pct. Before they lost they had the highest probability to go undefeated in the FBS. So there. So if you believe that the committee would out an undefeated BYU in, then they were the highest in the country. But you understand all this and for some reason are deciding to make an annoying jerk of a post.
  24. The Florida freshman QB is reinstated as the accuser withdrew the compliant. He's not playing in the LSU game but he's back on the squad. Too bad they had a shot vs LSU with him.
  25. Ya man you gotta be right right! Trestman rises above!!
