  1. Man, they were a touchdown away from covering.
  2. Pretty much. Chris Myers should ask Rodgers where he wants him to finish. This is getting gross.
  3. Clay Matthews is such a [expletive] douche bag. Good lord.
  4. Rodger Saffold has regressed terribly.
  5. He must've felt like Michelle Beadle.
  6. It just wasn't fair that the Brewers had to endure their family members sitting in luxury boxes. No doubt that had to weigh heavily on them tonight.
  7. I can't see it, but I can only assume Cam Newton has done something ridiculous if the Panthers are up that late in the fourth.
  8. Garrett Gilbert might be signing with SMU. That's a nice trajectory his career is on.
  9. Bradford has already been taking a beating and is going to get sacked more than David Carr, so I think it's a possibility he suffers some career-ending injury when Jason Smith dozes off during a blitz.
  10. Rams lose Bradley Fletcher, their last good corner, for the season. They are well on their to 0-16 and holding Andrew Luck hostage.
  11. Does DeVry have a football team? They might put up a decent fight against this year's Mizzou team. Ooh.
  12. Does DeVry have a football team?
  13. It does seem like a stretch, but Dewan's system had him as a +27 in runs saved and his UZR was over 21.
  14. The award is not given out for playing on a winning team in a more difficult division. Pujols was the most valuable player that year and it wasn't a particularly close call between him and Howard. I didn't say it is. Albert Pujols did. That is my whole point. My mistake then. I thought you were arguing that Howard should have gotten the award since they won more games. Obviously, Pujols is wrong. And he should really start griping about the fact that he should have won six straight MVPs from 2005-2010.
  15. That La Russa probably cost his team by not pulling his starters at the appropriate time. The award is not given out for playing on a winning team in a more difficult division. Pujols was the most valuable player that year and it wasn't a particularly close call between him and Howard.
  16. I can't imagine what brought them to that point. I'll take a 6-win season in the SEC if it means actually getting to watch the game.
  17. That bitching about the shadows thing is nothing new. They're not scheduling any games at 3 p.m. next year because of it. Had La Russa not been his typical La Russa self, the Cardinals might have swept the series tonight. But that's why he's a genius.
  18. Just read next week's Mizzou-ISU battle will be untelevised.
  19. Plus One'd. For the second straight year, the Bears have the worst adjusted sack rate. Brady, Brees, Rivers, Stafford and Newton have all attempted more passes than Cutler and their lines have done much better. Blaming Cutler is laughable.
  20. Braun threw what appeared to be a four-hopper to the plate and the announcers are raving about his arm.
  21. Theriot will bat .600, win World Series MVP and get signed to a three-year extension.
  22. If you're "oh my-ing" about the Lions rank, most rankings that I've seen this week have had them #3. I understand you gotta give them credit for being 3-0, and that's all good. But I'd like to see them play some tough teams. Minnesota won 12 games in 2009.
  23. Not that I care about the Red Sox, but I don't understand the pounding Theo Epstein is taking over Crawford and Lackey.
  24. I'm probably biased but if I were Philly I'd be dying to play STL and therefore be trying to win this game. Their offense is real weak outside Albert and their pitching isn't good enough to make up for it. Arizona's got a scarier top of the rotation. I saw this and was confused. Outside of Pujols the Cardinals have two .900 OPS hitters, two .800 OPS hitters and two hitters in the .775 range. and Ryan Theriot It appears that he's become a bench player.
