  1. Sadly they stopped that segment a year ago I think. Now they just do 'come on man'. ESPN: We were for violence before we were against it. Now NFL Films needs to go back and edit all the times it glorified monster hits in a cinematically breathtaking manner. Instead of Butkus crushing somebody's spleen, they can show him leading a prayer.
  2. Sorry guys, I'm here. The Rams need offensive line help in the worst way. Mike Adams, OL, Ohio State
  3. Hopefully ESPN will only air "Jacked Up" hits that were not influenced by pre-game locker room speeches, the worst kind.
  4. I'm reporting this.
  5. I was really hoping K-State would take Doug Gottlieb's pining for the job seriously.
  6. I didn't realize the Celtics were reduced to Greg Steimsma.
  7. I could only follow on my phone but those last few seconds looked ridiculous.
  8. um...yes? obviously. Does this mean Notre Dame is not an elite football school anymore?
  9. How many of those jobs would Smart And Stevens leave for? 4? 5? The obvious ones and maybe Syracuse/Michigan State. Why the hell is Ohio State on this list? Are schools being judged now on what they've done over the past five years?
  10. They also play in Louisville.
  11. What is the criteria being based on? Conference? Historical success? Geography?
  12. Blackmon has his share of detractors, but the Rams need a playmaking receiver and he fits the profile. Rams select: Justin Blackmon, WR, Oklahoma State
  13. What are you talking about? In the last decade teams that won the coin toss won 60 percent of the games. It's a huge advantage. It's about the equivalent of a home team starting the ninth inning tied with a runner at first base.
  14. Coin tosses to determine who gets the first possession are not a problem. Coin tosses to determine who gets the critical possession in a sudden death situation are. Either give both teams a shot or scrap the sudden death aspect of it.
  15. Oh OK. Yeah, I thought you might have left something out. I think Barnes will have a less productive career than Hansbrough.
  16. Exactly.
  17. Apparently this improves the Rams' chances of staying in St. Louis.
  18. has red auerbach's family requested that his corpse be re-animated so he could take the illinois job yet? He wants the K-State job.
  19. So, is K-State going to go big and just back up the dump truck for Self or are they going to slow play Stevens? What an enormous opportunity this is.
  20. that would be me. kamala's head on xavier henry's body. he's from parts unknown. That's amazing.
  21. Who is the guy with Kamala as a KU player in their avatar?
  22. As long as Taylor isn't jacking up 3's on fast breaks, KU should be good.
  23. It's a crap shoot, but it's one Illinois has to take if they can't lure any big names in. And the difference between Groce and Semi-Famous Mid-Major Coach is probably not that large.
