I dunno, maybe fans should let Groce coach a few games before making a kneejerk reaction? Maybe he doesn't compare favorably right now to Stevens or Smart, but use some perspective, please. Neither of those two coaches built up their respective programs. Groce has been at Ohio for four seasons and has two tournaments on his resume. Ohio made the tournament twice in the previous 25 years. Why does he automatically get classified as the next Weber? Why can't he be the next Self?

Yeah, I can't believe the committee set you up with such an unfair matchup as the MEAC champ that should have been a 16. Where are you getting that I said it was unfair? I said they may have fared better considering the path Baylor had to the Elite 8.

Props to Baylor for being a load of underachievers, yet finding a way to hold off South Dakota State, Colorado and Xavier on their way to getting pantsed in the Elite 8. It's crazy how Missouri may have fared better had they lost in the championship game and sent to the south as a 3.

Because he's not going to be coaching another 15 years? (or even 10). I think the M.O. in Champaign is to build something lasting, not to set up another transition. That's fine, and I don't disagree with that strategy, but I didn't know if Neifi was disparaging Hamilton because he's older or because he's not a big name.
