I like how people are making the connection that because the 2013 A's were just like the 2001 A's and couldn't close out the series that this is a referendum on Billy Beane. -

I think we can place Pittsburgh in the "bad teams that lack sufficient talent" category. Their offensive line is a disaster, the defense is old and their rapey quarterback looks like he's lost a few steps. Also, unless Gronkowski comes back, New England might be more "bad" than "underachieving." I think they should definitely be in the category above. You think the 4-1 Patriots are underachieving? My bad, I forgot they won those monstrosities against Buffalo and New York.

I think the line should be higher on Jags-Broncos. This Jaguars team is much, much worse than the winless Lions.

Think of it this way. If you can't succeed with these rules, then you really do suck. I feel like everyone outside of Manning, Brees and Rodgers have had some incredibly bad games. What the hell is going on with Geno Smith?
