I don't know if it's a case of Kaepernick just sucking against non-blitzes, because he was 19-27 for 315 yards when Green Bay didn't blitz. It's more likely that Seattle and Indianapolis a) took advantage of San Francisco's terrible receiving corps b) took advantage of San Francisco inexplicably staying away from Frank Gore (four carries in the second half yesterday) and c) throwing different zones that San Francisco couldn't figure out. Again, all that changes on Thursday, when St. Louis gives Kaepernick plenty of 10-yard cushions, bland zones and predictable blitz packages that sees Frank Gore run for 215 yards. I think Jeff Fisher is trying to get fired so he can take the job at USC.

This really sucks. Florida comes to Mizzou in three weeks and I really thought they'd win if Driskell was playing. Unrelated, but IU was honoring its '93 Independence Bowl team last night. Yeah I loved their chances against Driskell. Less confident now. Errant overthrow picks aside last night, I really like how Franklin is playing this year. Especially his running. My outlook on the season has improved. Best case they go 9-3 (losses at Georgia, vs. South Carolina, aTm). Maybe they give South Carolina a scare.

Good question. It's one thing to lay a turd at Seattle, but against a mediocre Colts team that couldn't stop Terrelle Pryor? That's cause for concern.
