  1. Kellen Clemens, and you are correct.
  2. Tennessee, Kansas City and Minnesota should all have interest. St. Louis, Oakland and of course, Jacksonville, could all use him, but will be in the process of tanking for Bridgewater.
  3. Josh Freeman has been released.
  4. Real Jags fans still wear Brunell jerseys.
  5. Highlights/lowlights: Doug Free is the highest-rated player on offense, with a +13.7, mostly from his pass blocking. Jason Hatcher is the highest-rated defense player at +11, but he's been a negative against the run. James Hanna is the worst offensive player despite just 84 snaps. He's been -4.0 run blocking. Morris Claiborne has been the worst defensive player. Quarterbacks have completed 16-24 passes for 286 yards and a 107.3 rating. Tony Romo is a +5.9.
  6. Nope, only making fun of how pathetic Jacksonville and St. Louis are.
  7. Yeah, really good set of early games this week. I hope you're including Jacksonville-St. Louis in that. Man, four years ago Gabbert vs. Bradford would've been an epic matchup.
  8. DERP. I was working quickly and off Google.
  9. Thursday Buffalo at Cleveland Sunday Baltimore at Miami New England at Cincinnati Seattle at Indianapolis Kansas City at Tennessee New Orleans at Chicago Detroit at Green Bay Jacksonville at St. Louis Philadelphia at New York Late Games Denver at Dallas Carolina at Arizona Houston at San Francisco San Diego at Oakland Monday New York at Atlanta
  10. I agree with that, but I think everyone outside of Brees, Brady, Manning, Rodgers and maybe Matt Ryan get overly negative attention when they have a bad game. Right now Wilson and Luck are teflon when it comes to that even though they regularly play mediocre.
  11. Oh come on you can't be serious. You think Cutler is the only one who has his games parsed like that?
  12. Matt Schaub.
  13. It's shocking how bad the Steelers are.
  14. Nope. Bush is just killing us. Luckily Stafford looks terrible.
  15. The amount of contact Seattle's linebackers and secondary is allowed - even on the road - is amazing. Even on a blurry screen you can see jerseys being pulled on.
  16. I'd say a team that loses at Rutgers is not worthy of being considered No. 8.
  17. [ The Aggies are like Cam Newton's Auburn Tigers. There were a ton of plays in that game that were all Johnny Manziel. Arkansas had a good pass rush, but he was too fast. That Evans guy has NFL written all over him. A&M has a some serious talent at RB. I don't think A&M touched Allen all night. I'm pretty happy with the play of our offensive line, starting 2 true freshman. It is encouraging to see how many of our younger guys played big in the biggest game to date. There's actually a ton of encouragement we can take away from that game. I actually thought the Hog D was pretty solid, except for tackling Manziel. A friend of mine and I were power ranking the SEC. Here's what I came up with: 1. Alabama 2. Georgia 3. LSU 4. A&M 5. USC-e 6. Ole Miss 7. Florida 8. Arkansas 9. Vanderbilt 10. Auburn 11. Tennessee 12. Kentucky 13. Miss St. 14. Missouri I'd be curious how you and what I can only assume a massively intoxicated friend arrived at those.
  18. Greg Roman, Jeff Fisher, Jack Del Rio, Chris Petersen and James Franklin are going to be the targets. Seems like all but one is realistic.
  19. UCF looks legitimate.
  20. Well, I don't know if it works out exactly like that. If they had taken Suh it's more likely that they pick Top 3 again in 2011, and knowing the previous regime, they draft Jake Locker if they don't get Newton. Before last night I thought his contract was more of a restraint than the quarterback himself, since I thought he could get them to 7-8 wins with the potential growing for more next year. Now I'm thinking 7-8 wins is his ceiling.
  21. The missed touchdown pass to Austin Pettis was the moment I realized Bradford is never going to get any better. I've seen him throw some great passes into tight windows, but that was a gimme and he whiffed. Bill Barnwell sucks, but he's right that Bradford can't throw defenders off. And he's obviously locking into guys because I've never seen someone have so many batted passes. Unfortunately, I don't think Tajh Boyd or Teddy Bridgewater are going to be any better, which means they're stuck waiting for him to develop or have someone fall in their laps. By that time, Jeff Fisher will be at USC.
  22. Fart
  23. Shocking: Kaepernick is good again.
  24. This is a really odd discussion to have in 2013.
  25. Not that it really matters, but this argument seemed heavily tilted towards Brady as of two years ago. After '07 it almost seemed insulting to compare the two.
