  1. The only way someone could think Bonds only became a once-in-generation talent once he started roiding is if they started watching in 2001.
  2. I keep hearing about Dino Laurenzi's life and/or reputation being ruined by Ryan Braun. This seems pretty over-dramatic and rooted more in #HotSportsTakes than anything else.
  3. Jaws' rankings are the dumbest thing ESPN has done since "Who is Now?" Way dumber than "Gruden's QB Camp." Jaws isn't bad, and he posts his qb list every year. I should pay attention more often, then, because this is the first time I'm reading and hearing it discussed. Anyway, they are terrible.

  5. It would've been helpful for the author of this article to provide some numbers on what ratings are like in the individual markets. Baseball has become hyper-localized, and using Sunday Night Baseball and Game of the Week as your main points is pretty flimsy.
  6. Excellent news. Sorry, OMC.
  7. Apparently Pressey wowed scouts at the combine until he started replicating his worst moments. I really think he could be a solid point off the bench, but his perception of his abilities doesn't match up anywhere close to reality. Oh well.
  8. It feels like Garnett has been listed at 37 since he was traded to Boston.
  9. Pretty sad that this was Indiana's biggest accomplishment this year. They won the Big Ten title outright. The NCAA Tournament isn't the only thing that matters. Disagree. I've never seen Missouri advance to a Final Four. There is nothing that makes it sting any less.

  11. Wall, Beal and Porter is a pretty fantastic young core.
  12. Porter > Oladipo
  13. More than Wade, Chalmers and Battier? Because those three are the worst.
  14. I still don't understand how one team can make so many unforced errors. It was bordering on comical.
  15. Dwyane Wade has three NBA titles and that's hard to swallow.
  16. And that should do it.
  17. I can't even.
  18. Does Green have to be in the game?
  19. Oh this is nuts.
  20. What in the world is Ginobli doing?
  21. I'm not surprised that this is pretty much pr0n for you, but get freaking real. Do you think your hero Michael was invincible in the Finals? (Spoiler: he was not) He was as close to invincible as a human being could get. That is unless the GOAT comes along in a few years and wins 6 titles by sweeping his opponent all while clearly being the best player on the court and in the world. Do you have a Google alert set to "michael jordan diss"?
  22. Yes I do. He was 24-11 in the finals. Averaged 34/6/6 with superior efficiency for a high volume guard and won mvp in every appearence. I dont understand your point, if he wasnt invincible in the finals who bested him? I hate to break this to you, but Michael had clunkers in the Finals. I realize saying this seems like an affront to you personally, or that I'm somehow downplaying his greatness, or I'm saying that someone has been better, but it's none of those things. It's a matter of fact. Every player has bad Finals games, but Jordan apologists zero in on LeBron's because they are so insecure that someone, somewhere is going to think LeBron may be better, even though he's not.

  24. They definitely choked and it shouldn't be controversial to say so. There's no point in being obnoxious about it like I'm sure Skip Bayless was, but, they did.
  25. Head-to-head or what?
