  1. Seattle loses its first game at home with Russell Wilson. Bruce Arians should be Coach of the Year.
  2. YOUR TEARS OF UNFATHOMABLE SADNESS ARE SO [expletive] SWEET. GO RECRUIT SOME MORE FELONS HAITH I'm so confused.
  3. http://www.forbes.com/sites/maurybrown/2013/12/17/major-league-baseball-sees-record-revenues-exceed-8-billion-for-2013/ Yet there are people who think the Mariners made some sort of fatal error by giving Cano $240 million.
  4. Went from 5-6 and in 8th place to 8-6 and third place, pulled off a big win in the semis and now get the pleasure of facing Josh Gordon and Jamaal Charles. I have McCoy and Murray, which is the best RB duo in our league, but they aren't exactly locks for 25 touches. Plus, I rarely make the right call when it comes to Rivers or Brady.
  5. so you knew what it meant, asked what it meant anyway, and then got pissy when somebody pointed out you should have been able to tell what it meant? So you wouldn't have made a big [expletive] deal about it if David had just said, "what an odd phrasing"? Right. I have to jump in and say that I took it as David reacting to a poorly written sentence, not really asking for someone to clarify what it meant.
  6. Mother of god
  7. They have a legitimate shot at running down the Tigers and/or playing in the Wild Card game. No team that has missed the playoffs for the past 28 seasons should be worried about not getting surplus value from Omar Infante.
  8. Matt Flynn decimating the Cowboys kind of puts Josh McCown into perspective.
  9. If only Dallas had a running back who was averaging over 7 yards per carry to hand the ball off to while trying to protect a double-digit lead. Hmm.
  10. The theory is that Missouri is a much different team than they were in the Big 12. TT or Butters or someone else who watches more Mizzou games might know this, but the narrative I've read is that Missouri decided to become a more run-based offense, which coincided with their improvement. But, the improvement from 2012 to 2013 could be just as much attributed to James Franklin, Henry Josey and the offensive line all being far more healthy rather than a great philosophical change.
  11. The ACC's second-best team lost by 14 points to the SEC's fourth-best team.
  12. What a gutless drive by the Chargers.
  13. Rivers at Denver or Brady at Miami Miami D/ST vs. New England or Tennessee D/ST vs. Arizona
  14. I wish it had been Oklahoma. That Fiesta Bowl is going to be atrocious.
  15. It only matters to Cardinals fans, but Tim McCarver is joining Fox Sports Midwest and is going to call 20-25 games next season.
  16. Cox, La Russa and Torre are going to the Hall of Fame. La Russa is seeking a front office job somewhere.
  17. I feel confident that FSU is going to do better against Auburn than Missouri just for the simple fact that their base defense won't be a 3-3-5 with little thought given to stacking the box.
  18. Matt Flynn is back in line for an unnecessary contract.
  19. Awful, awful, awful job by referees in Arizona.
  20. 1993, led by Barry Sanders, Rodney Peete, and my own personal Madden 94 faves Herman Moore and Brett Perriman. They were close to unstoppable.
  21. Not to take anything away from FSU, but Clemson is the only good offensive team they've played, and there's nothing comparable to what Auburn is doing right now. I'm fully expecting a 38-34 type game.
  22. I'm anxious to see the over/under on Auburn/FSU.
  23. A MSU win would take a lot of the sting out.
