Oh cry me a frickin river, Ravens. The problem with their stance on wanting the Bears 4th rounder is that they're wanting the 4th rounder along with the 27th pick, which was never a part of the deal. We can't assume that the Pats wouldn't have taken Smith at 28 before Baltimore if the trade had gone through, or that someone wouldn't have offered a better package than what the Saints gave to get Ingram to move up and get Smith at 28. Also, I don't care how the deal fell through. You're the team on the clock, and sometimes deals fall through. Be prepared for those types of situations. Sure it may have been the Bears fault, but you can't tell me there was absolutely nothing the Ravens could have done to make sure the Bears had called it in and subsequently had a backup plan in place incase it didn't happen for whatever reason. Ravens got their guy, we got ours, move on.
