Funny. Besides uncontrollable elation, I did mutter a "be careful now" as the team was piling together after the final out Saturday. After we win the World Series, then please... suplexes, elbow drops, etc.

I had a party at my place and ran a few laps around my apartment complex parking lot after the win, decked out in Cubs garb. Some SUV came up and drove alongside me for a solid 15 seconds screaming out the window at me in excitement. It was glorious.

Floyd had 2 sacks, a forced fumble, fumble recovery, and TD. Hoyer broke his left arm, so it looks like Jay has in fact not played his last snap as a Bear. -

Actually kind of surprised by this. I get the extra rest, but he's still spending less innings on the mound this way if the series goes 7. Pretty sure the Dodgers are confident there won't be a G7, and/or they're so confident in Hill after last night that they're banking on not needing Kershaw out of the pen anymore.
