That's more like it. Now let's get another one as the Crosstown Classic moves south into whatever a Guaranteed Rate Field is. Going for the White Sox will be James Shields, a man who is pretty much a shell of what he was in TB and KC. Mr. Shields has allowed an embarrassing 12 dongs in just 46 IP this season after allowing a similarly laughable 31 dongs in 114 IP with the Sox last year. Mr. Arrieta also isn't quite the pitcher he was in 2015 or even last year, but he's still a solid starter and we love him. Well, less than 3 hours till first pitch and no game thread. I hope it's okay that I make the spot start today. Today we have the current worst starter on the Cubs, who hopefully will be making one of his final starts in a Cub uniform after we trade for JV, Darvish, or Gray in the next few days. vs. Carlos Rodon of the White Sox, a walk-happy lefty who has been pretty terrible in 4 starts this year. Let's not lose two in a row to the depleted, horrible White Sox.

Another homer tonight. .317/.398//549 line in 82 AB in High-A. He'll probably crash back down in AA, but for the last couple weeks he's appeared to be an actual minor league baseball player.
