  1. Loving me some UNI right now. If they can knock off Wichita State next Saturday they'll be pretty close to the Top 10, I would think.
  2. The media keeps implying the on-the-field product was all that doomed Trestman...a good part of it, of course. But losing the locker room is the cardinal sin of coaching and Cutler had nothing to do with that. All the "coach-killer" crap is a joke.
  3. Gase had two separate Bears interviews, one for HC and one for OC, right? Heh, wonder if that's ever happened before.
  4. Twitter needs to be outlawed on this team in the worst way.
  5. Oh my god my god. No no no no no no.
  6. I can't wait to see the love child of a defense Fangio and Fox build together.
  7. http://replygif.net/i/1114.gif
  8. What kind of satanry ranks Kaepernick and Bridgewater above Roethlisberger, Rivers, and Wilson? Or am I reading this all wrong?
  9. If he's interested in pulling off another quick turnaround, it should.
  10. To hell with Tricky Dicky Kubiak. I wouldn't mind Cooper at all. Didn't someone in here post that the Bears had, according to some statistical metric, the slowest receivers in 2014? Get someone in here with big-time talent who can stretch fields, then swing Marshall for a 4th or 5th.
  11. Nervous for coordinators... On one hand we could get Gase/Schwartz. On the other we could get Mini-Shanahan/Dennis Allen. :banghead:
  12. Ugh. Just no to Marrone. Hopefully they hold out for Quinn.
  13. Our tradition of Centers continues. Vooch will be an all-star eventually, if he's not there already. Too bad we stinks though. :(
  14. Yes to Fox/Schwartz. Fox really isn't that bad, guys. Ideal? Maybe not, but not bad.
  15. I get that the ground allegedly caused the ball to pop up (and I'm sure it did), but I'm still having a hard time finding visual proof of the ball actually hitting. His arm hides it pretty well... Wouldn't a lack of seeing the ball actually touch the ground make it fall short of the indisputable category?
  16. 1. Bowles 2. Quinn 3. Austin 4. Shanahan 5. Gase 6. Marrone
  17. Judging by reactions here, sounds like a pretty meh PC to me.
  18. Jed Theo Bryant Pace All in one city. I feel ugly as [expletive].
  19. I'm pretty sure choosing Trestman over Arians was a bigger factor in Emery getting canned than the Cutler contract. One was a sin, the other was unforgivable.
  20. Eh, he had a few good years. The comparison isn't really the problem, it's more that people think George was this horrible QB when he was mostly decent. I guess in that way he's very much like Cutler.
  21. I could get used to the idea of having an elite special teams again. I took it for granted all those years.
  22. I'll be rooting for either DAL or DET to be humiliated in shame. Don't care who. I just want the Packers to get the Panthers and the Seahawks to have to play a decent team (Detroit). Carolina's won 5 in a row, not really fair to imply they aren't decent. They're every bit as likely to win in Seattle as Detroit is, IMO. I don't think it's splitting hairs to think the Packers conference title odds playing CAR then winner of DET/SEA >> playing DAL then winner of CAR/SEA. I was referring more to your implication that Carolina wasn't decent and that Detroit is more formidable for Seattle. Of course I agree that playing Dallas would be tougher than Carolina.

  24. I was just coming here to post that. If it's going to be those four... 1. Newsome 2. Ross 3. Ballard 4. Dawson
