  1. Same. If Ingram takes a dive instead of scores I'm playing for 3rd place next week.
  2. Quite fitting that the guy I've defended to a near death (Jay Cutler) has to get me 7.5+ points (ESPN Standard) to advance me to the finals. Thank God I picked up Harry Douglas 15 minutes before kickoff and played him in place of Josh Gordon, or else I'd need about 19 from Cutler. He's only failed to get 7.5 once this year, and facing a bad defense at home it looks good, but the Kromer thing worries me as does a benching if he starts slow.
  3. We need a new RT and more depth, that's about it. Much bigger fish to fry.
  4. LOL You know it's bad when you can't name one non-player in the entire organization that you'd like to keep around. It makes me absolutely SICK to think we could have had Arians.
  5. Have already had the "Have you guys won 11 championships yet?" card thrown at me by a Cardinals fan I know. They're starting to feel the heat.
  6. What do we have, another 150 pages to get to the Brian Roberts length? Keep at it boys.
  7. This. A sick part of me wants it to happen.
  8. Not only that, but they didn't "shut down" the offense, their offense just destroyed the TOP. Bears had only 3 drives in the first half, scored a TD on one. Defense can't get off the field, forces the offense to drive for 7 every time they touch the ball due to fewer possessions. Halves go by quickly. So Dallas can hide behind the "garbage time" façade, but the truth is their mediocre defense was bailed out by our defense, oddly enough. As far as play-calling, this all feels like 2009 in a lot of ways. Fall behind early, abandon the run, pass pass pass.
  9. I forgot to mention that my scenario would have the Bears going into Seattle for the WC round. Better to just take the higher draft pick.
  10. Because the playoff machine is addicting: Bears playoffs: 1. Win remaining 4 games. 2. Cardinals lose remaining 4 games: KC, @STL, SEA, @SF. Not the softest schedule ever, plus Drew Stanton. It appears Lions will have tiebreakers over us so Lions need to take the 5 seed. 3. Cowboys lose 2 of remaining 3 after losing to us: @PHI, IND, @WAS. Not impossible. 4. 49ers need to lose 2 of these 3: @OAK, @SEA, SD, while winning at home vs Arizona. Also not impossible. Bears would win a 4-way tiebreaker between Dallas, San Fran, and Arizona and grab the 6th seed at 9-7. Lions or Seahawks losing their remaining 4 in place of Arizona could also work. Now that was fun.
  11. I can't bring myself to feel bad about a game against Dallas, especially just one year removed from the no-punt game. Bears 31 (over 30, finally) Cowboys 24
  12. Briggs to IR. It's been real, Lance.
  13. Down 14 when Cutler was playing well and his rating was well over 100, but because he throws a couple of meaningless picks, he's the sole reason they lost. Some of the worst fans in the NFL, but nevertheless my own fault for reading Facebook.
  14. Has there been any Stafford backlash in Detroit? Guy's been [expletive] all year. Goes to show you that in most towns (not Chicago), winning games is QB immunity. I assume he's getting a pass because of the new system and probably the Megatron injury.
  15. We'll finish ahead of the Lions if we sweep them and break even in the other games. Not that we can sweep them though.
  16. O'Donnell just negated his really good day.
  17. Stay aggressive god damnit.
  18. Ball not out but coming out when forearm hits.
  19. Worst the OL has looked in about two years.
  20. Judging by the forecast we'll have this year's version of the 2013 Ravens game. 100% chance of rain all day.
  21. Speaking of QB rating, I find it quite amusing that Cutler is on pace for a career-high in rating in 2014, not to mention he'll likely shatter personal records for Comp%, TDs, and possibly yards. Of course ratings as a whole are on the rise. Currently 27 QBs with season ratings of 80+, that's pretty crazy compared to even 10 years ago. 90s are becoming pretty pedestrian.
  22. Providing a win next week, [expletive] gets real again if we beat Detroit on Thanksgiving.
