  1. Hahaha, there's one guy who'd obviously never think Trestman is part of the problem.
  2. We've gone full Cleveland. This is fun.
  3. Yeah, the anger stopped for me after the Miami game. I for one can enjoy meaningless Bears football, especially Thanksgiving Day, that'll be neat. Marquess Wilson is the Javy equivalent for the rest of the season. Really want to see this kid play.
  4. Coach of the 1-8 Bucs? Yeah, because he inherited such a great team... Lovie did more with far less talent. Like the Bears, they were better last year. This isn't even about TB. Lovie had a good thing going here, always had the guys ready to play, dealt with garbage ass WRs and OL, and still flirted with the playoffs every year. At the time I called the Lovie firing necessary. I'm recanting completely. Should have taken one more swing at an OC.

  6. Wish the Lions and Packers fan trolls would stay the [expletive] out of Bears threads. Also, take your advanced analytics and shove 'em. I'll still take Cutler over Stafford any [expletive] day of the week.
  7. Nobody in this division is very good. Lions have no business at 6-2, and unless you really buy the "with Rodgers we always have a chance" theory, I'm calling another one and done for whoever goes. Could be facing a team like Seattle who might have to rely on a wild card. Of course with the NFC being so weird this year I could be wrong.
  8. To be fair, the defense would likely be just as bad under Arians/McCoy.
  9. Sometimes I don't understand why I even watch football. There's nothing more intolerable than fans cheering for injuries. Fucks.
  10. If an improved stat line for Cutler via garbage time can lessen the fan/media blow on him this week I'll gladly take it. Of course it won't though.
  11. I find myself really turning against Trestman.
  12. Jeffery lit him up before ejection (4/148/1): http://scores.espn.go.com/ncf/boxscore?gameId=320022579 Caught a Hail Mary to end the first half. I think we'll see Revis on Jeffery and Browner on Marshall, which won't be good for us. Good chance both are locked down. Expect a lot of Forte and Bennett, and it'd be nice if Morgan/Holmes stepped up in the slot for once.
  13. I think he just doesn't like Jay. He loved Rex. True. I was alluding more to his never-dying allegiance to Lovie and his whole run first, play good defense mentality. He's clearly not over that fire, which, considering it was such a necessary fire from an offensive standpoint, tells me his philosophy is probably not a whole lot different. Not going to lie though, I can't say I'd mind having him on the defensive staff somewhere.
  14. Yeah I've been done with Brian for awhile now. I'm pretty sure he thinks every Super Bowl should be won 2000 Ravens style. Defense carries the team, offense's job is to not [expletive] up. Run the ball 40 times a game, have some garbage QB throw for 150 but never turn it over. TRUE BLACK AND BLUE FOOTBALL.
  15. Even if he hasn't improved this year, does it matter? He easily played well enough to take the team to the playoffs last year, all while quarterbacking a Top 5 offense. Not his fault a whole bunch of [expletive] went against his team in the GB game. The fact that his stat line is better this year but the offense is worse should be your first clue that he's not really the problem.
  16. Haha, every week now a Cutler supporter here turns his back. Truth be told I'll probably have faith in the guy until the day he hangs up the helmet, not because I'm close-minded or trying to prove a point, but because I, with all my being, believe in him as a QB. Seen him do too many great things to lose hope that he could be all I want him to be (lead the Bears to a Super Bowl, not be an MVP or even elite). Unless he wakes up one day completely devoid of all his talent, or at the very least shows an indisputable regression in level of play, it'll likely remain that way. Always with the relentless desire to focus/obsess over the QB. Especially here in Chicago. If that makes me a meatball then [expletive] it.
  17. It was just brought to my attention that the Blackhawks have more wins at Soldier Field this year than the Bears. Fantastic.
  18. Marshall has BPD and these little tirades are consistent with that disorder. Odd duck for sure, but no reason to hate the man. I personally feel for the guy. There's really no [expletive] reason he should still be without a playoff appearance.
  19. Call a [expletive] timeout.
  20. Someone missed a FG against us? Does not compute.
