I don't believe I've ever seen a baseball player as bad as Miles, and yes I was a fan in 2006.

Strange line for Zambrano. No walks but 11 hits in 3.1 IP? I don't see how anyone could give up that many hits to this lineup in that short of time. Only the Cubs.

I knew the Cubs weren't gonna let this thing go quietly. All I ask is that if we make a run for the wild card, we complete it. Not like the 2008 Astros where we close and then tank immediately. I think we've all been through enough this season, the last thing we need is more false hope followed by a final kick in the nuts.

In that article it says Dusty was a longshot to be the starting nose tackle. I always thought he was above Adams and Harrison on the depth chart. -

That 2-2 pitch has been called a strike all night.

7.5 out with 4 teams to pass! Its either that or miss the playoffs because the Cardinals are never losing again. This team has next to no chance of making the playoffs, but its just nice to know we're gaining on something for a change.

Personally, I would like to see Soriano given the "Andres Blanco" treatment, and go on the DL because of an "injury." I'd like to see him go on the DL with his legit knee issue. If he had a legit DL-able knee injury, why wouldn't he have already gone on the DL? He doesn't have a games played clause for his contract. He's not an irreplacable force in the lineup. He doesn't have some sort of games played streak. They haven't shied away from using the DL for other players. Stubbornness on his part. I didn't say I necessarily think this is the issue, just hopeful. Yeah, if there is one thing we can't get on Soriano about, its his desire to play the game. The problem is he is not always smart while playing it.
