  1. i hope he hits a grand slam...at least it will be a highlight
  2. damn, you know you have been beat down as a fan when you start hoping that last shot was a home run
  3. this is so awesome...patton has mad trust from lou
  4. This is another reason why Dunn made more sense than Bradley almost everyone made more sense than bradley
  5. this team is so money and they don't even know it
  6. http://www.baseballamerica.com/today/prospects/prospect-hot-sheet/2009/268290.html That's impressive? That was a typo. Obviously if he's walking in 15.5 percent of his plate appearances his OBP wouldn't be that close to his average. His current line is .284/.400/.483 That's impressive
  7. http://www.baseballamerica.com/today/prospects/prospect-hot-sheet/2009/268290.html the real soto got away :bye:
  8. Can you imagine Ozzie and Zambrano together? It might be worth it for the comedic value alone. i would be up for a straight trade of Z to the White Sox, that trade is silly because if they are going to give up that package they would want peavy not Z
  9. Link? http://www.nancarrow-webdesk.com/warehouse/storage2/2007-w39/img.07957_t.jpg Granted hes no Alexei Ramirez, but Hendry is of pretty average build for a man his age for someone who warrants so many fat jokes. average build eh? he is overweight, hence the fat jokes
  10. You do realize the term "memo" has nothing to do with the number of pages, right? And your argument as to its validity is how long it is? Wow. maybe i should have used the green font
  11. right vance, i forgot that if someone doesn't think the way you do, they are wrong No, my point is that it's quiet intellectually dishonest to say that one form of cheating should deny someone of the highest honor and that another form of cheating should be overlooked without some empirical reason for doing so. In a previous post, you admitted to taking greenies. That makes me wonder if you don't vilify those because you have committed the same act, while you condemn ones who have taken another form of cheating. Both steroids and amphetamines can increase performance. Both also can cause health problems. It's not that you're wrong, it's that you are inconsistent. You're trying to argue degrees because it's the only way to support your position. The problem is that there is no evidence other than speculation to support your claim. So, you're welcome to your opinion. If you like having uninformed, ridiculous opinions, be my guest. I'll continue to call them out for being uninformed and ridiculous, but you are welcome to have them. i enjoy your thoughts, can i come to your class on how to think and respond appropriately? The last desperate tactic of someone getting abused in a debate. Well played. awww shucks...you are so kind
  12. I swear if I hear this one more time... This should be copy-pasted into every steroids thread in the original post so that stupid sentence can't be typed That memo was never enforced by anyone within MLB on any level. It's a moot point. It might as well have been a memo about lunch that day. coming from the then commissioner makes it very much not a moot point in regards to its relevance Except no commissioner actually enforced it. It was meaningless memo. hold the phone, it is a seven page documento not a memo more important
  13. because places of employment do it all the time? My place of employment has no specific murder guidelines. uh huh, as i would expect it wouldn't Betcha I'd still get fired for it. (Though admittedly, it'd probably be the least of my concerns.) i need to eat because i am not following you at all
