  1. Lebron could get hurt and we could get lucky. We aren't gonna beat the Warriors, though, that's for sure. Although, I swear, we pretty much don't deserve another chance after 2014-2015 against the Cavs. We had every opportunity in the universe and still blew it.
  2. No, the main issue is the fact that we have absolutely no long range shooting, and two big lumbering big men down low. As someone mentioned earlier, our roster is now pretty much the opposite of what the rest of the NBA is doing. That could be beneficial at times, I'm not sure. It's definitely gonna be interesting to watch these guys play together. We signed a point guard whose only real positive attribute is running transition offense and surrounded him with old, slow guys. Yeah, there's that.
  3. Mike Dunleavy has been traded to the Cavs, according to KCJ.
  4. Main issue here is the coach is a jackass I wish anybody else was coaching. No, the main issue is the fact that we have absolutely no long range shooting, and two big lumbering big men down low. As someone mentioned earlier, our roster is now pretty much the opposite of what the rest of the NBA is doing. That could be beneficial at times, I'm not sure. 5. Every time I read a Friedell article, I think to myself, "Why can't I have his job?"
  6. What I did NOT want to see was GarPax try to tank and rebuild our team through the draft. Mostly because of how bad we are at choosing the correct players. If it weren't for the one-in-a-million-chance #1 pick that we used to draft Rose, and the random emergence of Jimmy Butler as a max player, where would we be? We spent years and years at the bottom of the league, trying helplessly to become competitive again by drafting people like Eddy Curry, Tyson Chander, Marquis Teague, etc. I would so much rather watch the Bulls get knocked out of the playoffs by Lebron every year, while Wade crumbles to dust before our very eyes and retires as a Bull.
  7. That's the best part! At least it's the entertaining kind of terrible.
  8. WADE TO THE BULLS I horsefeathering KNEW IT
  9. Calderon is going to be really hard to unload, but I would think there are lots of teams in the league that would want Taj. Dunleavy doesn't make much, so it probably wouldn't be impossible to find a taker for him.
  10. The Bulls are now reportedly calling around looking to unload contracts. This is gonna happen, guys. I'm calling it.
  11. Just a thought: If the Bulls did have a motive in missing the meeting, it could be as simple as they wanted to give themselves another day to plan, and put themselves in a position to meet with Wade on their own terms after he had already met with all the other teams. Don't teams like to get the last meeting?
  12. Breaking news: My sources indicate that Gar Forman and John Paxson have just secured a ride from Bulls forward Tony Snell, and that the trio are currently en route to NYC. Beverages will limited in an effort to minimize pit stops. I'm told that Snell is heavily involved in the recruiting process. More to come.
  13. It sounded to me like the Bulls would have to go meet him in Miami, but that's just Twitter ramblings.
  14. I like how Lebron is suddenly the anti-superteam. He's just a humble small town kid trying to bring a ring to his home state!
  15. Here's my thing... The Heat are about to suck, and Wade is unhappy with them. Staying with the Heat for the last 2-3 years of his career isn't going to be very fun. I'm sure he doesn't want to play for the Nuggets. If anyone is getting used, it's them. Wade might find the Bucks slightly attractive, but it still seems like a weird fit. Being able to come home and play for the Bulls at the end of his career does seem the like the most "fun" option. He isn't going to win a ring with us, but he isn't going to win a ring with any of his other potential suitors, either. With the Bulls, at least we would be back in the playoffs and playing a bunch of exciting games against the Cavs and the new Knicks. The move makes no sense as far as the rebuilding process. As far as getting younger and more athletic, it's obviously a joke. But dammit, I want to see it.
  16. Starting 5 of Rondo, Wade, Butler, Gibson, Lopez in an NBA that has completely shifted towards the 3 point shot, sounds pretty iffy. I don't mind zagging when everyone is zigging but this doesnt seem like smart zagging if that makes any sense. We would have to move both Gibson and Dunleavy to make cap space for Wade. So your starting 4 would be either Portis or Niko.
  17. Bulls to reportedly meet with Dwyane Wade and offer a partially guaranteed 3rd year. They are supposedly the only team willing to go beyond 2 years. I want this SO bad, even if it makes no sense. I just have really bad PTSD when it comes to Bulls rebuilding, and I would rather watch them try to throw a team together. BTW I despise Rondo as a person, but I could see him being a decent fit in Hoiberg's system. That is, if Hoiberg's system turns out to not be stupid.
  18. Plenty of people are sensible enough to realize that the alternative of [expletive] outside of a porta-potty, no matter what the circumstances, is always the better choice. I've never been at a sporting event, concert, etc. and thought to myself, "I'll just go take a squat behind that tree". I guess I'm just not sensible.
  19. Of course I have. What kind of question is that? How can a person go through life without ever being forced to horsefeathers in a porta-potty?
  20. Guys, it's completely not even time to freak out yet. We could rattle off an 8 game win streak like it's nothing.
  21. Is this a typo or did you intentionally spell it like that?
  22. I don't really understand the joy lots of people were very sick of his [expletive]. it's one thing to have a great player derailed by injury, but it's another to be a dumb ass d-bag. the first part is sad but that ship sailed a long time ago for me. Yeah. I've been done with him, as well. It's hard for me to understand how a guy in his situation could act like he has. I used to be one of his biggest supporters, but it got to a point where I just couldn't defend the ridiculous comments he was making.
