I honestly don't think the age factor means as much to other players as it does to fans and executives. Wade is one of the most respected and well-liked guys in the league, he has rings, and he can clearly still play. He could very well have 3 more solid years in him for all we know. Since chemistry is so important in basketball, personal relationships are critical. I guarantee you Chris Paul is not gonna be like, "I dunno man, you're kinda... old". Also, not all cities are equal. Yes, every team has money now, but not everybody wants to play in OKC (clearly). A guy I knew from Germany told me that the Bulls are probably the most popular team there, and that everyone knows their logo, just because everyone still thinks of MJ and the 90's dynasty. Of course, our front office doesn't have the best reputation, but I think Wade is a big help on that front. If we treat him right, he's going to tell people about it, and people will listen.
