The only thing that has really disappointed me has been the defensive lapses. I expected runs would be at a premium, and the Nats caught a huge beak with the rainout. sale, kluber, kershaw, and grienke gave all been knocked around this postseason. 8 runs in 4 games is disappointing. it's hard for me to care too much about the rainout when we got the massive scherzer break to begin with. oh well, if we do end up losing, I guess it's easier to swallow this way instead of heartbreaking losses Yes, sometimes great pitchers aren't great. But when they are, it's hard to beat them. Good thing our starters have given up a grand total of 1 earned run this series. It's the playoffs. Anything can happen in a short series.

Everyone has completely sucked with possible exception of Rizzo. They are lucky to be in this series. Go read some of the posts in the NLCS game threads last year. You're being fooled by Strasburg and Scherzer being amazing and having their good stuff. This offense is studly and was dynamite in the second-half this year. They can erupt at any moment. And they will against a non-elite schlub tomorrow.

I agree, but this has a whole lot to do with Scherzer and Strasburg. Yeah, you aren't ever seeing 3 guys on the level of Strasburg and Scherzer in 4 games, unless there is a rainout like this that pushes one of them up. And if you do, a team with 3 of those guys is nearly impossible to beat. If the offense doesn't show up in Game 5, complain away. But we've faced Scherzer and Strasburg 3 times so far and beat them twice. Not much you can complain about right now.

How can anyone not have faith in this team winning any game after watching them the last 3 years? I don't think I or anyone else said they couldn't win this game. And faith? Faith is a made up word. Means nothing. We win because we execute, not because of "faith." http://i.imgur.com/icPtGF0.gif

At this point in the game, this offense has given me no hint that they can win this. Can they? Of course, but I don't have a lot of confidence right now. We are talking about the same team that was no hit into the 6th inning of game 1 and no hit into the 7th of game 3 and won both games right? How can anyone not have faith in this team winning any game after watching them the last 3 years?
