  1. Instead of sending 50 people on a private jet like last year, PTR will be able to save some money by giving KB a Greyhound bus ticket.
  2. Drop: Mike Trout Add: Jake Lamb
  3. Damn, Schwarber is ripping some balls foul lately. Straighten it out, big fella.
  4. Duncan Robinson 7IP 4H 1R 0BB 8K but gave up a homer. Michael Rucker with 6 more strikeouts in 3.1 IP. Now with a 56/3 K/BB in 35.2 IP as a pro.
  5. That's really good to see. I saw him last year when he was struggling and I think he was sitting in the 80s. Hopefully he can keep stringing together good outings.
  6. Did Bosio go rogue after Theo put him on Double Secret Probation?
  7. Ross definitely made KB cry.
  8. I believe David is up on the next Game Thread. I haven't seen him on here much this weekend. UMFan83 would be after him.
  9. I'm not sure he could hit AAA pitching; send him to AA.
  10. I voted Schwarber. Russell's went into these horrid slumps before. And he also might be hurt. I don't think he needs magic powers to fix him. Schwarber does.
  11. Happ chases way too many low breaking balls. He seems to have a good eye of the zone on balls in and off and lays off close pitches, in general. But he's got to quit Javy'ing those breaking balls in the dirt.
  12. Also a good point. "Oh no, we might be teetering around .500 for even longer than we have so far, in this horrible, shitty division."
  13. I understand we beat him in the clinching game of the NLCS but it was after two big offensive games to turn the series around, the significance of that game gave the Cubs an extra push, and Kershaw was spent. If we get shut down again the rest of the way, it's hard to envision him not dominating us tomorrow. Jon Lester just pitched one of the best games of his career his last time out and is also pretty good. Also, Lester has like a 0.25 ERA against the Dodgers over the last two years.
  14. He's already punting the Kershaw game tomorrow because we always get dominated by Kershaw I understand we beat him in the clinching game of the NLCS but it was after two big offensive games to turn the series around, the significance of that game gave the Cubs an extra push, and Kershaw was spent. If we get shut down again the rest of the way, it's hard to envision him not dominating us tomorrow. 15. Looks like we are going to need to round up a bunch of children for Donkey Teeth to eat on gamedays.
