  1. How angry is that one guy about Ross in the booth?
  2. How much would the home run sculpture cost?
  3. Yeah, I was going to ask if that's the reason they haven't bumped him up. That might be a decent idea. Isn't Robinson 23? He's not a guy you need to coddle, either. Might be best to let him sink or swim. Or, instead of Morrison, who likely can't do anything, BUT start.....Maybe its time to throw Underwood in the pen and see if his stuff plays better that way.....I think starting is out for him. 3.2 12 9 9 1 5 tonight..... Yeah, Underwood sucks. Throw him in the pen. He'll never start in the majors.
  4. We are going to dong the hell out of Wacha.
  5. Yeah, Toonster called that. The question is how? There's not a spot for him in MB, even with Oscar out. At least not if they give Rucker a shot at starting. Maybe bump him to AA for Morrison? Robinson is older, maybe worth trying that, just to see what you've got with him. Yeah, I was going to ask if that's the reason they haven't bumped him up. That might be a decent idea. 6. Duncan Robinson probably needs bumped up a level.
  7. Kyle Schwarber with a game-winning grand slam. *edit: Sorry, wrong forum.
  8. Fly the W! And get the brooms out tomorrow!
  9. Normally I wouldn't think there is anything to it. And it's a very good chance there isn't here either. But for Kyle, I think his problem lately has been in large part due to him losing confidence. Early on, he was really unlucky. And he was still hitting the ball hard, and taking good ABs. But the last week or two, he's been completely out of sync -- taking bad swings, chasing pitches, and generally just looking lost. He's definitely never been in a funk like this ever in his life. So you know it's been eating at him. And it's destroying him every time he goes up to the plate. If it's not a mechanical issue or anything, and he's just in the dumps, there's not much better for a jolt in confidence than that.
  10. Man, that was awesome. I'm so pumped up. Finish them off now and sweep tomorrow.
  11. There have been ample opportunities to horsefeathers on the guy. After hitting a grand slam to take the lead against the Cardinals is not one of them. Maybe give him a reprieve for one AB.
  12. Holy horsefeathers! That is amazing. I'm so freaking happy for him.
  13. This RISP [expletive]. That was Rizzo's 2nd K since May 19. No better time for it.
  14. What happened in that first inning? Ump squeezing Jon? Since I tuned in during the second inning, Lester's had good command and is getting a ton of weak contact.
  15. Vosler adds a triple. Charcer Burks is 2-2 with a steal.
  16. 12 through 6 after only getting 1 strikeout in the 6th. He's also at 80 pitches, so 20 Ks seems safe. He gave up a double and walked a guy to start off the game and has retired the next 18 batters.
  17. .292/.386/.547 with a 11.1% BB% and a 19.6% K%
