I hear ya. But everyone can have a bad inning or two. Like Arrieta against the Reds earlier this season when he also was cruising. Or how even the Cubs came back down from 4-0 on Wacha.

I'm fascinated by how some on this board often attempt to proclaim games over after two or three innings.

I doubt that's going to happen. But that's only because I don't think tomorrow's games going to happen. And it's for the better. We really need that break. And by we, I mean we, not them. That would suck because it's a complete waste of an Arrieta start with the break coming up. That, and I don't want them to have to reschedule yet another game.

Really disappointed they couldn't score the guy from third with one out. Would have been nice to get one run back.

Haven't they been in more 1-run games than any other team in the league? How is that boring? I think for me because a lot of times when they win 2-1, I feel so mentally fatigued watching their offense fail time and time again that by the end it wasn't exciting but just taxing.

I know nobody will agree, but for a team that is seven games above .500, the Cubs haven't been very fun to watch for a while now. Quite frankly, they are boring.

Even on TV it can be tough, and that's even when the Cubs are playing the Marlins. Any ball to the outfield has resulted in cheering by overreacting Cubs fans this season.

Earlier in the year when Rizzo, Bryant and Soler were due up (Soler batting second at the time) I was so confident they'd score at least a run every time.

Why did Hendricks just stand at third the whole time? I guess just confused?

Even if it doesn't get rained out, a nice delay would knock Wacha out early and give the Cubs a chance.
