My fear of the Nats is that they play the Phillies, Braves, Marlins and Reds 21 times. And that makes me unhappy. -

The confident Cubs fans feel like we already have a playoff spot locked up and focus on things that aren't probable but still possible. The other fans like me get annoyed at the confident ones because we haven't in our mind clinched a spot and just want to focus on whatever makes that the most possible. No doubt that it's more fun to be a confident Cubs fans, but I still want you all to screw off. -

Why do the Cardinals still matter? The Pirates barely do Yeah, I'm a glass half empty dude so I've stopped caring about those two. I'm left panicking about the Giants and Nats, simply because I don't trust the Cubs not to let them back in. -

I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say they got in from LA at 5 am while the Reds were in Chicago when the Cubs' game started in LA. Now win tomorrow.

I know baseball doesn't work this way, but the Reds really should use Chapman in the 8th in this specific game and go to the 8th inning guy for the 9th.

I was going to say same thing but didn't want to get yelled at. It's a personal accomplishment and would be nice for him. But just give me the win. Why not both? That's the beauty of no hitters. Oh yeah. By all means. It's just I'm more nervous about giving up the lead than a hit.

Guys like David are way better at math than me, but why is it that out of question that the Giants catch the Cubs? I'd rather be up six in the loss column than down six, but there is still a month left and they don't have to climb over multiple teams to catch us. I don't know. I just want to secure a playoff spot this season. I'm not greedy. I'd rather the Giants lose to help lock that up.

This is why it's so important to gain as much ground as possible on the Giants when they could. Even if it meant rooting for the Cardinals And we'd still be up 5 in the loss column. There is no such thing as half games.

Is it OK to say that considering we didn't really have to use an extra pitcher too much that it was cool to give up the lead so that Bryant could dong and they could have fun with a walk-off?
