it's not about him being right or wrong. he's obviously not dumb. he's just a high volume contrarian troll and that gets annoying. and he does it on every remotely related cubs corner of the internet. OK. That makes sense. Because I was going to say, he doesn't seem to be an idiot to me. Anyway, I'm impressed with how much people here know about each other. Like Idiot is called by his real name id assume and I think Sofa is called mojo. Where the [expletive] does this all come from?

I know people often seem annoyed by Hairyducked, but what's his track record? Is he right most of the time? Like what was his take on Rizzo a few years ago? Just wondering. He seems like his opinions are backed by research he does, which I respect. I'll say I don't agree with his criticism of Theo and I'm more willing to say that guys can improve when they are only 23 and don't have to start declining when they are 24.

Only problem is that this is crunch time. Unless the dude is really hurt nobody is going to go on the DL just to get some rest. I have a hard time believing it's anything that bad. He played the entire game and still legged out a triple at the end.

You are hoping they lose a game? What is wrong with you? That's the most positive post he's made in weeks, and it's really not that unreasonable as I think we would all take that result. I get that he puts out a lot of bad posts, but don't just blindly bash him. I was just being a smart ass.

Hope Soler can do something, as I really wanted a run this inning. That said, proud of the Cubs' offense these last two games. Reminds me of the Giants series when they wouldn't go away. We have made things tough in back to back games after giving up a ton of early runs.

The Giants, and Cardinals, are sort of pissing me off.

I mean, I don't like that the Cubs have likely lost three straight since that fun streak. But let's hope the Cards can win tonight and get back out there tomorrow against the Braves without too much damage being done.

Would think this would be him going to SF. With Pence on the DL and its regular 2B still out till perhaps September, getting another offensive option got a bit more important. -
And only 3 ahead of the Giants If the Giants and Cubs both lose three games the rest of the season we go to the playoffs.
