He was gung-ho on the entire idea of a rebuild and how Pujols was going to be old and broken down, and pretty much all of us yelled at him and told him how stupid that was, the Cubs obviously weren't going to do a rebuild. Not that it means he wasn't being stupid, it's just funny in retrospect. Kyle, as we sit here on August 20 with the fourth best record in baseball with a bunch of players, most very young, performing very well and who were acquired as a direct result of the tem being bad, you're still going to call the rebuild stupid? It was risky, as we got huge gifts from the Astros, Orioles, and Athletics and it certainly sucked to watch, but this is pretty sweet right now. You haven't been harping on it lately, but you have to have softened your stance a little, right? Won't for sure speak for him, but I don't think he has. I'm pretty sure he will talk about how long Theo hasn't made the playoffs and that some of these young guys might start to decline next season. And that's OK. I don't at all agree, but respect the take even though he's wrong. Rather, even if.

I'm on my phone and at first all I saw was the Cutler one which is pretty bad, but then I scrolled over and saw the Kane one. Oh dear Same here.

I remember Sofa making fun of me when I said in September of Pujols' final season with the Cards that he didn't look the same anymore when I watched him bat. It wasn't a great explanation, so I deserved it, but sometimes you just have to watch a guy to realize he isn't as good as people think. Like Carlos Gomez.

Now that I did not remember. I thought davhern became davearm, and you were always just David. Sorry. Was Davearm banned? I feel like I've seen people say he was crazy.

Since it was only two months ago I remember vividly saying the Cubs' offense is what it is for this year. But then Schwarber came up and they moved Coghs to second while benching a below replacement player.....and they started hitting like crazy. So happy to be wrong right now and hope to continue to be. ha, i think that was 3 weeks ago Holy [expletive], no wonder why I remember it so well.

it's not about him being right or wrong. he's obviously not dumb. he's just a high volume contrarian troll and that gets annoying. and he does it on every remotely related cubs corner of the internet. OK. That makes sense. Because I was going to say, he doesn't seem to be an idiot to me. Anyway, I'm impressed with how much people here know about each other. Like Idiot is called by his real name id assume and I think Sofa is called mojo. Where the [expletive] does this all come from? you signed up in 2009 and don't know the answer to those? kyle has only been hairyducked idiot for several months, after IMB called him a hairy dicked idiot. before that he was kylejrm sammy sofa was the mojo pin for like 8 years Yeah, for some reason I must not have been paying attention or was in the wrong threads. I just found out recently that Mojo is a FED and it sounded like everyone knew for years. Am I right that Sofa used to be Nuts and Gumm? Nuts was my favorite poster.
