  1. I overclocked my AMD xp2500 to 400 Mhz easily on my Shuttle Nforce2 board. I really wish Shuttle would go back to making motherboards. Anyhow, it's clocked at 2.3Ghz on air, with a Zalman CNPS7000A-Cu cooler and extremely stable. I really wish I could have purchased a unlocked chip or had the foresight to get a mobile chip but ah well. I don't play with overclocking much now. I happy with my computer speed and don't have squeeze every last bit out of the chip like I used to or play with memory timings to get more out of the chip.

  8. A hamstring injury can be very debilitating. While it could be an annoying injury, every time I've pulled it or strained it, I haven't been able to effectively run for at least a few days and sometime for a week or two. Granted, perhaps I didn't stretch out as much as I should have prior to the injury but it was also no less than usual. Not starting anything, just remembering the pain and I had a little problem with the nagging injury comment. It sure felt like a lot more than a nagging injury.
  9. Because hes an Al Davis guy ;) by the way, i have to hate you somewhat, becasue of your raiderism, seeing as im bronco faithful, you know how it is. Fair enough. Well, to be perfectly honest, I would have had a problem with both of y'all. Being a Seahawk fan that is. However, as we all know all those great games between the Raiders, Broncos and the Seahawks are at an end. For the better? Probably, but I'll always remember some of those games. For example, soccer10k, do you remember the game when Bo Jackson went right through Brian Bosworth? Lord I hated that draft pick. I'll never know why the Seahawks picked him. Now, back to your regular scheduled programming.

  15. I like both bands but have to go with Lynyrd Skynryd. They just have so many songs that I like. Queen, while having many good songs also just don't have the consistency in songs. Sheer Heart Attack, Queen and Queen II were excellent but some their other albums did very little for me. The song 'Stone Cold Crazy' almost swayed me, but no.

  18. I have to say that this was the hardest vote so far for me to cast. Both have been very influential in my musical tastes and desire to want to play guitar. However, in the end, Lynyrd Skynyrd gets the vote.
  19. I don't being in the minority on this one. I love Rush. They are extraordinary musicians and can all write music. While Geddy Lee will never have a great voice, you also have to realize that he became singer by default. No one else could sing well. However, if you could sing like that, while playing great bass, bass pedals and keyboards, often at the same time, maybe you could hear beyond his somewhat upper range voice. Let's talk about sycopation or better yet something in other than 3/4 or 4/4 time. I have always enjoyed Rush's music to the highest degree. Even after Signals and Grace Under Pressure. Ultimately, Carress of Steel will always be in my top ten records of all time.
  20. I've got to go with AC/DC on this. As one of the bands that first got me out of Casey Kassem top forty into rock music. I still owe that to Powerage and If You Want Blood...
  21. Scott, Thanks for these threads. It's good to know that I'm not the only one that remains up beat for the Cubs. Yes, we all know the weaknesses of the players and the management, but I still go into each game thinking the Cubs can win. Is it a long shot? Yes, but these are the Cubs and where there is life there is hope.
  22. Wasn't that Doc Holliday, in the Gunfight at OK corral? With Wyatt and company? I don't know, I didn't grow up here (US) and westerns were far and few between in Asia.
