  1. I feel this should be posted again.
  2. Raisin, on the game of 1-3, Sam Fuld (Aragua): 4/10, 1 3B, 0 BB, 3 K, .400/.400/.600/1.000, then after going 1/5 on 1-4. He is at 4/15? Just a heads up.
  3. welcome to the board!
  4. Adam Dunn, at least you know what you are getting.
  5. Raisin, not to nitpick, but Papelbon doesn't really have 88BB, does he?!
  6. Now I just feel uncomfortable. Anyway, I feel miserable tonight and quite hopeless. Tomorrow, I'm going to wake up and throw on my Zambrano shirt and believe that this team is going to get its Howry together and win dammit. Go Cubs Better than feeling miserable and depressed! Also, Cubs will win tomorrow because I'm not going to wear my cubs shirt this time. Yeah, the Cubs shirt is a jinx for me too. No more Cubs shirts for me for the rest of the playoffs. Same here, I guess I didn't learn my lesson from last year. As long as we win this game, everything will be fine. I think Harden and Lilly are going to be dominant at Dodger Stadium. Just please have a good start Zambrano. +1, no more Cubs jerseys until after the playoffs.
  7. Great stuff Meph, good to see you around.
  8. mhuber, damn tough day. Seahawks will get up, keep the faith. The team is getting it's injuries out of the way now. Right?...I hope. Eeesh. I remember feeling more optimistic with Zorn out there, at least Largent would hang on to the ball. Both the 'Hawks and the Cubs, just rolled over and died today. I don't know. Next week and Tuesday, respectively, I guess.
  9. Mephistopheles, I would like to see an article or something said about the Rule 'V', and it's implications on the Cubs. Who would you protect and why? While Rundle may be making a case,?! there are, it seems, so many that may be on the way out. Namely, Cedeno. Lost 'prospect'? Protected too soon? There are a million ways to figure this and I would like your input if possible. Great to see you on the Draft page, and hopefully, you will post on the minor league page soon. Thanks.
  10. Do you think that it would be better to stretch Samardzija out and not Gaudin? I was pretty sure that he could start as well. Or do you think that Samardzija has better 'stuff'?
  11. Uh I bet Shark goes to a few  Plus, I'm pretty sure I saw Dempster at the ND-Syracuse game during Quinn's Jr. year interesting fact: Dempster was a ND baseball commit before he signed with the Rangers. I believe Ski thinks ND stands for North Dakota. Yes, ND has and will always stand for North Dakota. You do realize that if you asked 1000 Americans what they thought of when they heard the letters 'ND', maybe 3 would say North Dakota, and that's only because they live there. i'm pretty sure you're dead wrong on that. ND is the postal abbreviation, and it's definitely the first thing i think of. a majority might say stupid notre dame, but it's hardly as lopsided as you say. I didn't say the other 997 would say Notre Dame, just that virtually nobody would say North Dakota. Not that I know what else people would say, but I doubt that many people would say North Dakota. What else would ND stand for, besides Notre Dame or North Dakota? oddest thing, you cant sleep with your shoes on? I'd love to have set this up in the 'Ask me anything about ND' but... it's late and, merci. http://realestate.aol.com/photo-galleries/improve/laws-you-might-be-breaking?pg=6
  12. yeah, i was gonna say, his birth certificate puts his career in jeopardy. lol, that's a good one. Question for me now is whether he's a Hall of Famer. His candidacy is up in the air for me. Part of me recognizes that his counting stats are certainly beyond where they should be for a second baseman. The question then becomes how much of that is a product of the era that he played...if that even matters at all.
  13. For the n00bs (re: me), I wont have the time to do the fantasy football thing, but an elimination type thing I'd love to join. Please advise.
  14. =D> that is excellent! Thanks.
  15. Good show, OMC, very well done. Keep them coming please.
  16. Yes that would be excellent, and most appreciated.
  17. beat by Electron Blue
  18. Thank you so much. Uniform until I got to Drysdale and I can't see how he didn't throw out his shoulder. His weight is coming forward while his hand is gripping 'backwards'...maybe that's why I never made it. (hehe, like that's the only reason), but I can't see how he rotated through the pitch. The grip seems to show a 'two seamer' and I realize he had a couple of inches coming down, but still. Especially with such a small step. Any pitching people to help me w/ this? Thanks, OMC. Much obliged. Edit: He could have been going backwards at the time of the photo also. Hard to tell. Either way. My favorite thread. danke schoen. Sorry about the lacking umlaut. It's too late to dig up the character key.
  19. Excellent pictures once again OMC, how about a string of all time great pitchers mid-delivery? Thanks either way for the photos.
  20. Does anyone know why Pierre is in the game? I thought Eithier would was in the line up.
  21. well done, even to the choice of music. Very well put together, sound level is a little low, it get's overpowered by the music, then 2nd time the 'card' fan shows up. I really like the way that you 'kept the shutter open' when Jimmy was rounding the bases in the beginning, and even if you didn't, it was well played. The lighting is a bit off on the 'Card fan' sequences but I'm sure you're dealing with lack of funding. Three point lighting, through a scrim would set that off. Your pans of LaRussa are very well timed and as well as the Pujols fan applauding. At the end I loved you how you showed at 2:37 his defence, only to be backed up the pitcher's reaction at 2:52. Please, keep these coming. Bravo!.
