As a communications major and a Home Appliance Team Lead at Sears, I refuse to let this thread die. Is it true that the best refrigerators are Korean these days? USA all the way baby.
He's had less than 400 PAs above the Arizona League. Even Kris Bryant had over 400 before reaching Iowa. Soler also had a few years of something resembling pro-ball under his belt when he came. and then took two years off before playing again. I love Soler as much as anyone, he's probably the most complete hitting prospect we have, but I'd let him stay in Tennessee for more than 14 games.... Puig played a total of 63 games in the minors. Cuban people are all the same, bring him up.
I would not be surprised in the least if Soler ends up being the best of our prospects. Dude has Javy-like power without his flaws. Dummy just needs to stay healthy.
Don't think you'll make it to 2016? To be totally candid..... I'm more worried about the team than I am about myself. I'm glad you're well, you were starting to scare me.
Why the hell would you want to stop him from taking his own life? That would solve our problem. Use that saved $13m on a condolence card to his family, badda bing badda boom.
Unless, by some miracle, a team wants to trade for Jackson, what do you do with him next year? Put him at the end of the bullpen, release him, or just keep trotting him out there hoping he eventually stops sucking?
I watched the first inning, then I stepped outside for a bit. While I was out there I just knew when I went back in, Edwin would have given up the lead.
He's 23, so he has to start flying up the minor league levels. He needs to get on base more often. It would be really cool if he had something like a .390 OBP since the beginning of June, along with an OPS over .930. Oh, wait... http://www.baseball-reference.com/minors/player.cgi?id=hannem001jac&type=bgl&year=2014#batting_splits_milb::none It's cool, but he needs to start doing it at higher levels.
