I'm probably just overly sensitive from things completely unrelated to this board. and part of me thinks I'll probably be mocked for saying any of this, too. And I know this is a minor league game thread and sorry for another unrelated and far too personal post. I've caused enough mess and I'll just drop it from here on out.     According to the announcers, the pitchers in an all star game are better than in a regular game, which can make it more difficult than facing worse pitchers. Anyone have any data on this?

    Can't let Wainwright go out like that. Leave him in a few more innings, at least 130 or so pitches.

    It's possible, but about 2/3's of the games would have to get rained out. Bryant only played 16.

    Almora isn't quite the prospect Springer was, but the difference between them isn't Schwarber.

    If you were the Marlins, would you be looking at a deal with Almora as the centerpiece? Addison/Alcantara, Almora, and Schwarber for Stanton. Plz God.. If the Marlins would have traded him for Correa/Springer, the Cubs wouldn't need a 3rd piece as good as Schwarber. Russell/Almora is fairly comparable, maybe add a 2nd tier guy like Black or Villanueva.
