  1. Favre would never even consider the Bears. No weapons at his disposal there.
  2. I didn't see OleMissCub's reply...apparently we think alike
  3. If he comes back with another team I am going to be really unhappy. (I'm a Packers fan if you couldn't tell) He will sign with the Vikings. You heard it here first
  4. We could use those seven runs from yesterday now... Especially since those runs were useless, thanks to our bullpen. Exactly my point...You in the Air Force?
  5. We could use those seven runs from yesterday now...
  6. Yes, blame fontenot for being short and not patterson for making a lazy play. Great idea. Do you actually think about what you say before you say it? no i dont, stfu Dude, relax man...You need some meds??
  7. Caddyshack 1941 i thought it was platoon The Longest Day Used Cars Up In Smoke
  8. Caddyshack 1941 i thought it was platoon The Longest Day
  9. Alright then, take the number 6 and give me some examples.
  10. He could play the part of Chip Caray...
  11. Um, the point was to think of GOOD things. Yeah I know, but it's part of CUBS history...gotta take the bad with the good
  12. NLCS 2003 Gave up 8 runs in the 8th inning. Inning kept going due to an error by SS who's number was 8. Cubs were up 3-0 with 5 outs to go...3+5=8 Last WS appearance 1945..at the time (2003) 58 years. Last WS title 1908. There was record rainfall set that day in Chicago which surpassed a record set back in 1871. I can probably come up with more, but that's all I can think of now.
  13. Me too. I was born & raised in the Chicago area (and as a Cub fan), but I guess now that I live in Texas I am nothing more than a tourist when I go back to Wrigley for games. Yep, me too. Just remember, you know nothing about baseball and just come to Wrigley to see women and drink beer. I was also born and raised in the greater Chicagoland area...I had no idea I'm now a tourist because I live elsewhere these days. What a joke...this is why it is impossible to pull for the other team in Chicago. I dealt with the same stuff growing up. It never changes Could it be we're all "tourists" now because we were part of the generation that grew up watching the Cubs on WGN, and now we're all grown up with jobs living in other places? If I new I was going to be labled a tourist I would have just stayed in the area and got a job at one of the steel mills. Yeah right

  15. I felt it...Lee is waking up. I especially like that the HR was opposite field.
  16. Fred? No hornkohl here......
  17. I predict Lee will have a big series. I think he's about to go on a tear. He's due, no better time than now.
  18. I love the optomism. I know this is what good teams do, but come playoff time they have to beat these teams. Hendry will most likely make a deal before the trade deadline for another pitcher. One thing is certain, the CUBS will probably have an improved roster for a run at the pennant.
  19. The CUBS are 7-10 versus teams with winning records, and 38-17 aginst losing teams. The good news is they are beating the teams they should beat, which is something the CUBS have always had trouble with in the past. In six series against winning teams the CUBS have won one, the sweep of the D-backs who look less than spectacular now. Does this worry anybody? Discuss
