  1. I certainly hope not if he continues this way the rest of the season. If he is somewhere else next year I would'nt be surprised if he returns to the old Pierre. Thats just the way it goes for the CUBS....far too often.
  2. CUBS luck....I at a loss for words with this organizations luck and mismanagement.
  3. I'll admit it...I do it
  4. Under...unfortunately. Day game after a night game they will be sluggish....again, but nothing new there.
  5. Just got home...I see I have not missed much
  6. Wait, Angel Hernandez?! Jesus... Bad week. Remember the Steve McMichael 7th inning stretch incident where he called out Hernandez for bad call in the previous inning. I say the CUBS have mongo do the 7th inning stretch every game he umps at Wrigley.
  7. 1-3 Yep..... Gm# Date Opponent Score Starter 2 Wed 04/05 @ Cincinnati 6- 8 Rusch 6 Tue 04/11 Cincinnati 2- 9 Rusch 11 Sun 04/16 @ Pittsburgh 7- 3 Rusch 16 Sat 04/22 @ St. Louis 1- 4 Rusch He pitched well enough to get the win against St. Louis but the offense was absent that day.
  8. The CUBS are 3-1 in games started by Z. He does not have a W, but they are winning when he pitches. CUBS are 3-2 when Zambrano starts....... Gm# Date Opponent Score Starter 1 Mon 04/03 @ Cincinnati 16- 7 Zambrano 4 Sat 04/08 St. Louis 3- 2 Zambrano 8 Thu 04/13 Cincinnati 3- 8 Zambrano 13 Tue 04/18 @ Los Angeles N 1- 2 Zambrano 18 Mon 04/24 Florida N 6- 3 Zambrano Thanks for the correction...still not bad

  10. I feel bad for Girardi. His first year managing and he is basically given a triple A team. I say 54.
  11. You sum up all my feelings in that post. Thank you for saving me 30 minutes in typing. I agree with you 100%
  12. You are off the hook.....CUBS WIN!!!! I had that typed up and ready to send during the 3rd batter, I was getting nervous. Lets get the sweep tomorrow.
  13. But it is easier to study when the CUBS win... Is'nt it
  14. Time to put another one in Dempsters dumpster
  15. go ahead isn't he? Brian you should know all about CUBS karma by now.....or are you a young CUBS fan? sorrysorrysorry I PROMISE TO NEVER TEMPT FATE AGAIN Just remember it's the CUBS. What can go wrong usually does go wrong. If you google murphy's law you will see a CUBS logo...
  16. go ahead isn't he? Brian you should know all about CUBS karma by now.....or are you a young CUBS fan?
  17. You think.... i figured it was safe since we have a real BP this year. With the CUBS it is never safe.....never
  18. Considering who is pitching and the conditions I support the call. It also puts the Cubs in a position to send Ramirez on a close play since there's already an out. Like I said, you don't want to bunt when you more than likely need two hits to score a run anyways given the speed of the baserunner. Even with the conditions, if there's a smaller chance of the runner on second scoring on a single, it's probably not worth it. Point taken...I just think station to station baseball in the current conditions will get you no where. Your chances of scoring are better playing small ball tonight. Regaurdless of who is running the bases..
