  1. Great.... that figures out to 2.67 P/PA. We're awesome !! We don't need no stinking patience...swing away. Dusty ball
  2. Just wait until Wade Miller and Derrek Lee get back. They'll lead the team back into contention! That was sarcasm...right?
  3. I meant streaks...funny though. I have my 19 month old on my lap who wants nothing more than to type himself. Next time I will edit....
  4. In Dusty's nearly four years here his teams have never sustained more than a seven game winning streak. I believe that number is correct, but not positive. My question to you guys is...How much of this do you attribute to injuries?? Or inconsistent lineups?? Or whatever?? I refuse to blame injuries...the Cards are still winning despite Pujols being out and there offense has not missed a beat.
  5. Let's start a two or three game winning steak today...and then in typical CUBS fashion immediately proceed to lose six to eight in a row there after.
  6. Earlier this year at Wrigley...Where were you?
  7. Uhhh...yes it was. You never make the first out at third. Baeball 101
  8. CUBS ran themselves out of another inning...it's like a broken record
  9. You never make the first out at third.....NEVER
  10. I'd like to see them do it every day but that probably won't happen in our lifetime. Maybe Dusty change his managing style philosophy in the near future...It's our only hope since management is hell bent on extending him.
  11. Just once I would like to see the CUBS make the opposing pitcher work...
  12. How many pitches did Murton see in that last at bat?
  13. Diehard CUBS fan here...there are no other teams
  14. Me too...It's easier to watch if you have no expectations.
  15. The CUBS paid him 5 million over two years...remember he saved us last year.
  16. It's been said over and over on the radio broadcasts if not in print that Clines and Mathews wanted Murton to pull the ball more. These reports started about 2-3 weeks ago. It doesn't take a PhD to connect the dots on that one. Excuse me for not living in the Chicago area...I was unaware of such reports. Well, you dont have to live in the Chicago area to hear the reports, you browse NSBB, right? Also look at how many posts I have since April '03 when I signed up (member #34 Payton). Two hundred-sixty posts should tell you how often I am here.
  17. You got that right. Although growing up near Chicago (Hammond similar to Belleville to St. Louis geographically) dealing with Sox fans was no picnic either. All said Cardinal fans are easier to deal with than Sox fans...much easier.

Sorry I took it that way...all good
