  1. Maybe we can get an advance on some of that future jumbotron advertising revenue
  2. Go with Eli, has a healthy receiving core, Cowboys offense seems to be clicking and will likely put up some big points so Eli should be having to throw a lot.
  3. Santana isn't tempting to me at any price. Mid-30's coming off a second shoulder surgery in the span of like 30 months, no thanks
  4. I think physically maturing is a big reason here. He was 18/19 at those levels. BBR has him currently listed at only 5'10" and 160. It's possible, if not likely, he's put on a good 20lbs since his A ball years.
  5. Hughes on something like what Liriano got last year before breaking his arm and taking a 1 year deal is something I wouldn't mind. Think it was like 2 years and $15 million guaranteed +/-. Also there's probably near zero chance Vizcaino is ready to take one of 5 starting spots out of ST. Meaning he's probably going to be on a innings limit and they will want him to rebuild his strength in the minors at least to start the year.
  6. What's the record for TD passes in a game? 7, 8?
  7. Do they have the DH in the AFL?
  8. For all the talk of Peyton having his "fastball back" he sure has thrown some weak and soft passes.
  9. Did he delete it? I just looked at his twitter and there's nothing there
  10. Shut up Terrell Suggs
  11. Yeah as more of a fantasy/general NFL fan with no allegiance to any particular team RedZone is pretty much the only channel on in my house on Sunday. Other than the days/nights of the week there is only one game, playoffs, and superbowl I won't watch a game from start to finish in its entirety.
  12. 12-15 seems to be appropriate for him. Baez, Bryant, Soler, Almora, Alcantara, Edwards, Pierce, Candelario, Vogelbach, Villanueva, Underwood are all guys I think definitely should be ahead of him. Then there are guys who I could see a argument for in Vizcaino, Maples, Olt, Vitters, Pineryo, Zastryzny to be ahead of him. He's def a top 20, though. I can't really see Underwood being ahead of him (or ahead of most of those other guys you listed). I meant to say Blackburn, I get those two mixed up all the time for some reason. you and kyle both they're like literally opposites. one is a super polished white guy who had/has questions about his stuff and the other is a black guy with awesome but unharnessed stuff. Yeah, I just think it's that they were drafted in the same class or something for me. Idk
  13. Josh Johnson is my #1 fa pitching target. But I think Hughes would be a decent get as well, has his stuff really diminished? His BABIP is higher than his career average and his velo this year is right in line with his career averages. Looks like he has hrown his slider a lot more (23.6% this year, compared to 6% for his career) than his curveball (8.6% this year to 17.4% for career). Also he's completely given up throwing his cutter.

  16. Agreed and they'd also see their property values plummet. Also is he not aware no stadiums sell glass bottles anymore? Everything is plastic, still I guess he has the trash argument but, the few bottles/cups that would fall would be plastic and much safer/easier to clean up. Also just put up high railings/plexiglass that makes it nearly impossible to get stuff to fall onto the street.
  17. Sunday night is the featured game now like Mondays used to be. That changed when NBC took over Sundays and ESPN got Mondays. I think they made that move because Monday ratings had dropped off regardless of the quality of the game that was on. I know that. But MNF wasn't this bad. And SNF wasn't this bad pre-06 when it was the secondary prime time game (at least, not as far as I remember). I'm just saying that there have to be at least 2-3 somewhat compelling matchups every week, at least to the point that the 2013 Dolphins should never see a national broadcast. Well I think MNF gets the 3rd choice every week, after SNF and whoever has the CBS/Fox doubleheaders 3pm premier game. Then you have to factor in schedules and regulations. I think teams can only be on prime time games 5 times a season and I believe every team plays on Thursday at least once (bc I believe each team can only play on Thursday once a year sans thanksgiving). So that leaves 4 appearances per year for the teams. I'm not sure if they go week by week and say "SNF who do you want? Now Fox, now MNF" or if SNF selects all their games for the season first, then fox/CBS goes, then MNF picks what's left but if that's the case I'm guessing MNF doesn't have great choices left. Yeah, I'm not sure how it works but that seems like a reasonable guess. Also SNF gets the ability to swap games in and out starting in like week 13, right?

  19. McFadden Newton Redman Forte Wayne and Jones Flex spot, need 1 for me Bush v. MIN McFadden @ IND Nicks @ DAL
  20. This is pretty awesome http://www.grantland.com/blog/the-triangle/post/_/id/73501/seven-ways-the-nbas-new-camera-system-can-change-the-future-of-basketball
  21. Trout and it isn't that close between the two for me.
  22. At that point, I would rather let Arrieta/Hendricks/Grimm/Rusin/Cabrera/Villanueva battle it out. How many more offseasons are were going to go after a patchwork rotation? Letting those guys battle it out isn't going with a patchwork rotation?
  23. Is the Tenn game going to be broadcasted in any way?
  24. Phil Hughes was just replaced in the Yankees rotation by David Huff. He probably won't be getting more than a 1 year contract in the offseason, both because of this year and also to re-establish value. I wouldn't mind him on a 1 year deal.
  25. Him not being broken would make 2014 look so much nicer. Should've taken the advice out of Javy's book months ago about not telling him what the [expletive] to do
