Appears so. $13 million, is allowed to do whatever he's doing from LA, only needs to be in NY twice a month, and apparently gets final say on a lot of decisions (we will see with Dolan). Looks like Kerr will be get strong consideration to become the HC in the offseason too. I just don't see how it is going to work brining a guy in to change an organization from pretty much every aspect, on court, personnel decisions, acquisitions, philosophical changes, probably some internal re-structuring, etc. when he's 3,000 miles away and only in town twice a month. Especially with an owner like Dolan whose track record proves he doesn't give autonomy to anyone.
