Incredible. Wouldn't expect CarGo to be one of the worst. Yeah I haven't even heard of some of those guys Blackmon? Dickerson? They lead the league in OPS at .825 the second place team, White Sox (.775), is as close to them as they are to the 10th team (Texas at .725). Their team BABIP is .329, they are in the bottom 1/3 of the league in k% (23rd) and bb% (28th) so they are putting the ball in play a [expletive] load and when they put it in play it's a lot of GB it appears. 50% gb% (2nd in the league), fb% is only 29%, 27th in the league and ld% is 20%, 17th in the league. Though when they do get it in the air their HR/FB% is 15% (2nd in the league). I would say there's some regression coming.

What exactly is the consequence to an owner of suspension? I just asked the same thing to some of my buddies. Does it just mean he's not allowed to games or NBA events? Is he not allowed in the offices/able to make day-to-day business decisions indefinitely? Not allowed to vote on anything?

Last year SEC teams played at Indiana, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Miami, Oregon, Texas, Alabama played Virginia Tech in Atlanta, and Mississippi State played Oklahoma State in Houston This year SEC teams will play at Clemson, Florida State, Oklahoma, Louisville, Kansas State, Texas Tech, and LSU is playing Wisconsin in Houston LSU facing Wisconsin in Houston is not really a road game. It's certainly not a home game. Baton Rouge is about 5 hours away. In any case, I doubt that this fact would cause Wisconsin to tell the SEC to [expletive] off in the future. Yeah if I had to guess that should be a 50-50 game attendance wise for fans. Wisconsin fans travel well. I believe Wisconsin and Alabama play at Dallas next year too.

No idea, but I doubt there's anything formal they can do to him outside of a fine. I'm sure he's getting more than enough pressure from other owners/the league to seriously start the process to sell the team though and accept the first offer that's reasonable, which he will make an ass load of money off of. If the Bucks just got $550 or whatever he can probably get somewhere around $1.5 billion. If it was announced the Clippers were on the block to be sold, there wouldn't be a shortage of groups trying to get in on that.

It'll be interesting to see where they are around the trade deadline. I think they thought this would be a lost season (still could be as their pitching sucks). They're probably the best hitting team in baseball. No.

I know the idiot pitching coach for the Orioles hates the cutter and made Bundy stop throwing his. This was before he ever had any injury issues. I'm sure if you google it you can find the articles on him stating his distaste.

Didn't I read somewhere that if Noah got DPOY some incentive would push the Bulls over the luxury tax? I think they can't get to the tax anymore because someone got claimed, Erik Murphy?, they won't get to the tax even if Noah got DPOY and/or if Taj got 6th man of the year (I think that was the other one that could push them?)

Not really. So you had them with the best record in baseball on 4/20? Maybe if you were participating in 4/20, you would. It's a weird game; much, much stranger things have happened, plus it is, as you just pointed out yourself, only 4/20. Yeah, it's really not that weird. They have the talent to go on a nice 20ish game stretch, most teams have one like this over the course of the season. Theirs just happened at the beginning of the season and is more magnified. 10 of their games have been against the Pirates and Phillies, who most seem to think aren't that good. -

Yeah, he's on the high-end of the veteran back-up tier. You can still use the "veteran exception" though, amIright? Do you mean mid level exception? I believe they could use that, not a CBA guru, but I think they'd have somewhere around $6 mil to sign Hill to the full MLE if they want. If you meant veteran minimum, you won't get him, he's signing for a lot more than that.

I definitely think that's a team that contends for a title. Obviously with the assumption of health and Rose returning to at least 80% of the player he was. I really like Jordan Hill too, he'd be an excellent addition for the backup PF/C spot. Might be a bit too expensive though.
