If they don't feel Jackson or Gordon are worthy of the 4 pick/worth going full slot on I guess I'd be fine with taking whoever out of Beede/Fedde/Nola are willing to sign for the most under slot in the scenario that Aiken/Kolek/Rodon go 1/2/3.
I thought that was Simpson. Vitters had mono too? I thought he had it at draft time, while Simpson got it after being drafted? I don't know. There was something about his current physical condition at draft time. I think Vitters got it around draft time but it lasted into the start of the next season and set him back from starting on time/regaining his strength.
That would make sense that someone at his age would already have put a chunk in a trust/entity he wasn't the sole owner of. Also he has cancer apparently
no [expletive] way, that's awesome I'll try to remember to post a pic later, I got it as a Christmas gift from my grandma. She had some sports memorabilia catalog at her house back in the day when we were filling out Christmas lists and I saw it and put it down. I don't think it was all that expensive (if I can remember back to my 9-10 yo brain at the time) it was like $40.
Not baseball related but the coolest piece of sports memorabilia I have is part of the square of the court (it's like a 2"x2" cut out) that Jordan took his last shot as a Bull in Utah.
No, because like CubinNY said had he become owner he would have been under the same structure with the spending limitations (he's admitted this). He have probably tried to spend a little more and maybe we would have had a little bit better records over the last few years but not title contenders. I do think Cuban would have handled the renovation problems much better and they'd be started by now, IMO. He would not have stood for the tomfoolery of the rooftops.
