The idiots on MLBN just jokingly said maybe the money sent to Oakland from Boston is to cover the cost of the Cespedes shirts given away on Saturday. I actually could see that being the case and the most Oakland thing ever.
The Brewers-D'Backs just made a trade, Brewers send some 23 year old OF with a low .700's OPS in AA no word on what they are getting back yet but it can't be a whole lot.
He had to of racked up a good amount of innings this year and is relatively new to pitching, would it be weird that he doesn't get assigned anywhere until next season with just spending time in AZ and maybe a fall/winter league up until next spring?
Holy [expletive], Fuld's actually has put up okay numbers this year, he has a .263/.356/.366 line with a 2.3fWAR, and a 12% BB%, 15% K%, in just under 230 PA
I think it would be insane. There were people who thought he would start this year in MLB. It's not THAT crazy to get him to AAA. I don't think it will happen, though. Seriously? He turned 20 in January. Law said he believed he could start the year in MLB, I think a lot of the other prospect guys thought he at least could get there this year.
He should/probably does, but if we are going to try and win games next year and the year after he's a nice to piece to keep. Like Valbuena he probably has more value in keeping, unless someone is really willing to overpay.
Would actually love to hear what Rhee's velocity is and what his split looks like. FB 85-89 and getting solid contact. Touched 90 once. Offspeed 53-58 mph and nobody hitting it at all. KB 415 ft to Rt center!!!! And id it had hit someone they would killed them-a rope. Guessing this is 83-85?
