more embarrassing was then they still seemed outnumbered in that late series in 08 when we buried them for the division That series is probably my favorite Cub memory from anything after 03' until now. Just completely annihilated them
Eh, he's been kinda wild this inning and was laboring (well over 20 pitches at the point he hit him) plus he just threw a slider in the dirt Bryant offered at. Seemed like he was just coming back at him hard on the hands and missed the spot.
I'm guessing the thinking is including Hendricks allows us to expand the deal (Kimbrel, Upton, someone from a 3rd team) and/or lessen the prospect load given up

Circle of life Then turn off your computer/internet and wait by your door until the paper comes tomorrow to read about what trades actually happened
All this talk has me thinking..... they should just banish winning your division as an automatic 3 game series and just re-seed based on record and the 2 worst overall records get the play in game.
For as much as I hate pitchers and Ross scares me, I think I'd be fine giving up Baez as the main piece in a Ross-Kimbrel deal. If it really came down to include Baez or there is no deal
I know it doesn't make sense. But part of me would rather see Soler involved and Upton coming back rather than Baez/Castro involved and Gyorko coming back along with Ross and Kimbrel
