  1. David Wright, with his degenerative back, is going to finally be healthy, though. I can feel it. And also who needs hitting when all those pitchers are coming back and penciled in for 30+ starts. No worries in the world
  2. Do teams ever take into account reverse splits when making a lineup or looking for match ups? It seems like they don't do it very often or not often enough. Joe literally cited Bauer's reverse splits last night as a reason why Soler was in the lineup
  3. Arrieta is a finalist for the Gold Glove Award with Wainwright and Greinke, since when did they announce "finalists" and not just announce the winners?
  4. Posted this in the Schwarber thread but figured I'd put it here too... Tomlin actually has reverse splits, this year and for his career. So if they are iffy on Schwarber to begin with in the OF I could see that playing a factor in at least sitting him for the game tomorrow. .276/.310/.487 vs RHB and .246/.277/.450 vs LHB for his career and .295/.323/.522 vs RHB and .227/.247/.438 vs LHB this year.

  6. I'd lean this way too, in a non-Hendricks game/with the wind blowing out. That being said I don't think Schwarber plays in the OF. It's going to be Heyward or Soler in the OF tomorrow.
  7. Would they rather MLB tweets about how we made their pitching staff look like little leaguers learning to pitch for the first time last night?
  8. Only starting this because after watching the World Series was checking box scores. Anthony Davis had 50 PTS, 16 REB, 5 Assists, 7 Steals, and 4 Blocks tonight. And that's the last we'll think of the NBA for a few weeks.
  9. When the Indians bullpen comes in to games normally do teams just not have an approach at the plate and flail away? Because they are far from accurate
  10. These Indians pitchers are all over the horsefeathering place
  11. Nice hopefully we can at least get one more in before if/when the rain comes
  12. I do have to say, Jake looks like he's "rocking" back/loading on his back legs less tonight than I've seen this year
  13. He's still progressing, though. He'll get there. 100% agree. Just can't completely take the training wheels off. Yet.
  14. Javy's ABs tonight have been pretty miserable. Still convinced he needs to be protected vs RHP over a full regular season
